Also when I opened the TT screen I did get the 2M credit, but I didn't get the screen telling you your final rank.
Wondering if I skipped it by mistake and if others got it?

You're welcome, I get the data from the website, pretty much automatically.
Said website could really be a bit nicer, it is really barebone and having a few easy to pull stats would be kind of nice.
It is not even possible to search for your position which seems a bit like a basic function when there's 1000+ pages.
 
Worked my way down to 1:27:0xx, so the Silver reward now seems achievable. Must say the race is less about my lack of driving skills (though they are big part of my slow times, of course) and more about learning where (and how much) to ignore the track limits.
 
This latest TT at Interlagos really whipped my @$$. Spent a couple hours before finally achieving a 1:24.607 with the GT-R. Hopefully that keeps me in gold status because I don’t think I can do it again 😭
 
I golded the last three time trials fairly easily, but this one is proving more difficult. After tonight's run, I hit 1:24.879 on the nose. I'd put my feet up and call it a day, but if the top time comes down by even a thousandth of a second, I have to go back out there. :lol: I know I've got a few tenths if not a good half second in me. My "ideal" time was 1:24.4 tonight. If only I could put each sector together. The final turn is a pain. Oversteer city when I get on the gas which kills on the long run to the line.
 
That one is quite a bit harder indeed. Feels on par with the initial Escudo one which took me hours to gold.

Got to 1.25.7 after first session, with quite a few laps ending in a spin.
The giant deadzone on the DualSense triggers is really annoying when trying to apply 90% throttle.

I do like the combo still, and it does feel very good when sector 2 flow nicely.
 
I wonder....

TCS 0 for 90% of the lap. TCS 1 for the last turn until 3rd gear - Then TCS 0 again.... Hmmmmm....

For the moment the 1:24:614 that I make right now is certified gold :dopey: I hope that "The Pirate" Maraglino will not have a need to improve his already alien time :rolleyes:

Nearly got in the bronze on 1st attempt in 5 laps or so, without the use of a YouTube guide, im improving slowly was on for under 1:30. got a 1second penalty on last corner somehow managed to go into the wall lol
 
I think I'll be fine getting another silver for this current one - I'm 4.20% off the top time. I don't think I'll be able to get gold on this one, but that's fine by me. I've yet to get a single bronze, which I think is a good sign, haha!
 
Gave it another go today and improved my time to 1:24.811. I actually had a terrible first sector on that lap, so all I had to do was get set a decent first sector and repeat the rest of my lap like I did on my fastest. Nope. I had one particular lap where I was up a full 3 tenths going into the last sector and proceeded to have my WORST final sector all day and ended up slower than my best lap. :banghead:

I have a feeling the time will still be enough to hold onto gold. Who knows for sure, though.
 
I really wasn't expecting to get into Gold range on this one, but I guess I'm not as hopeless as I thought. Let's hope the guys at the top find something else to spend their playtime on for the remaining 11 days :scared:
