Gallo's time is still 1:39.931 (though the leaderboard hasn't been updated, what gives)

I think I'm safe with my time, and considering there's only 2 hours left, Gallo won't jump me...right?
Same boat - spend a couple of hours to save a tenth and a half after he bumped me out of gold, hoping he doesn't find another tenth!

Wow! I can't believe the gold has dropped this late. Those are crazy times. What is the gold now? I'm still on a 42.5, was in the 400s when I set it, 600s now!

1:42.9 Was likely still the gold time. Congrats to those who made gold!

Here are the statistics for all TTs up to Suzuka (manually done by me, so there may be minor variations to what you see elsewhere).

And this analysis shows just how difficult this McLaren MP4/4 at Suzuka has been:

And finally, here are the number of drivers below 1% of the top time:

great info, thanks!
this combo has been really hard. Silver people too should be proud of themselve.
I'm bronze with very few laps. Working more on this would for sure better my time, but not the reach silver, I guess

Yeah, the last ones where not to my liking. I felt that getting better on those would cause more frustration than anything. So i was ok with bronze and enjoyed the rest of the game.

Curious if it get's better for me this time.

I can't do any better than 1:16:101 for the new one but at least it's short. 👍

Hopefully it's good enough for bronze reward in a fortnights time lol

It should be alot easier then the MP4 :), i'm curious how the ZR1 handles,if i remember correctly it's kind of a handfull in third, the SM will not make that any better , should be a fun combo imo

Next TT is in the Corvette ZR1 '19 at Watkins Glen Short on Sports Medium tyres
That's much more up my alley. I couldn't get the flow with the MP4/4 and only just register a mid-bronze time. I've been around gold or low silver for every other one I've entered, so this one was just super challenging. The ZR1 at Watkins Glen will be fun. I was driving mine there the other day!

nice shot :);)

1:12:822 I think.
My good mate who is pro at GT is in the top 100 and has a time of 1:14.4.

I reckon I could creep into the 1:15s but the car handles like a boat and I struggle with it. 😥
Keep at it, you'll knock more time off with practice.

I snuck in gold at Suzuka (1:42.7) before my travels began last week and held off Gallo barely to keep gold streak alive. phew. Now I'll have just a couple days to do the new TT when I return home before deadline. Hoping this one turns out to be easier -- or the aliens decide they don't want to go absolutely mad at the end. That final push at Suzuka was unexpected and impressive.

I put about a thousand miles into driving the '09 Corvette in a Weekly Race here awhile ago and that was back when the meta tuning made the car drive weird. Hopefully I can get gold way easier here, although I doubt I will finish 14th worldwide like I did in the Weekly Race qualifying.
