Hmmmm....after doing some master license test, I was kinda happy that the Tokyo Expwy TT was using a 400hp car with SS tires. They could've give us that Mad Ferrari with SH tires 🤪

That and the god damn 58 Vette at Grand Valley were the single most infuriating masters licences!!!

You do you, but like I'd take the 1 mil you get from doing this TT, sounds like you possess the skills & pace for silver at least? 🤔

after 5 restarts the only thing i could say was..... what the hell have they done with this car, that Ferrari drives so bad on that track, must admit that it's one of the more restarted ones , and i only have the Final MP4 to gold, that says enough
( altho the peugeot on the new track was kind of frustrating too! )

Did look at Tokyo this morning, did 3 turn 1 entry's and though...... yeah...... it;s licence day ..

New test this morning in Tokyo, after a good hearty cereal breakfast but without 👽, 🤣🤣 with best lap at 1'23'000 with optimal lap at 1'22'555

The time to obtain the gold medal drops further. I think you'll have to be around 1'22 to be sure to get it

Oh, I can beat that. So far in this TT I have done 37 completed laps across 3 sessions. 2 have counted.

The car is actually great to drive, but I hate hate hate the track.

I used to hate Tokyo but I don't grind much for money because I just don't have the time to put in and it made me really appreciate a GTR there. It's so hard but so satisfying to make a clean lap. I know it's not a common opinion. 🍻

I grind the other Tokyo but it drives very much the same. I need to learn this track to get gud but I'm super close to silver without a ton of time in it yet. Plus it is the type of track that the more you learn it the more it actually opens up a little (from my view anyway).

I'm with you. The wall touch penalties are set too sensitive in my opinion, but you know they are so just have to avoid touching the walls. It makes for a great challenge.

Current best is 1:22.715 but with substantial deviation from the mean...

Haven't tried Tokyo TT yet, was way too busy driving in snow, 2 player split screen
So what is trick with the challenge except obvious not to hit walls. Early on brakes, hard on brakes, trail brake, release brakes easily, accelerator, shift early, double shift, don't shift hahaha, stay in 4th whole lap what to do to get gold, you ninjas that are in gold range already ?

I'm almost 2 seconds off pace, but having watched some of the top times, I stay in 4th gear most of the lap. Shift to 5th just after halfway up the bar (not sure what revs that is). Brake earliesh and try to induce a bit of a slide - especially first right hander, the one after the long tunnel and the right handers into and out of the second last tunnel. I might have saved a lap if you are interested but might be better to look at the top 10 laps.

I did some laps in the 400R yesterday and man, is that car ever nice to drive. Not a fan of the fact that even looking at the wall to hard will invalidate a lap. I see myself doing a lot of laps on this combo. Honestly can't remember what my time was yesterday. 23.3 maybe?

Just checked, 27.7xx apparently. I honestly don't remember getting under 23 lol

Looking at the wall certainly lures you into it. You're supposed to look through turns to where you're going, but all the turns are blind, so you have to look at the wall.

It's no wonder why we hit it!

I love the tunnel section after turn 3 as it's quite undulating. Even the section where we have quick esses that lead to a small tunnel downhill before going uphill towards the penultimate corner.

1'22'872 with optimal time at 1'22'666.

When you can get the lines right and the braking right, this car on this circuit is a real pleasure to drive 😍😍😍. I thank N.Apostolopoulos (PSN : willful-Underdog) for his superb ghost who helped me a lot in the trajectories

I think I'm at about 1:27, literally the only legal time set so far out of 10 or 15 laps, I'm clearly brushing the wall somewhere lightly enough to not realise, unless there's any weird track limits things I'm not aware of.

This one definitely felt like the most grindage to get to gold (2 sessions totalling about 60 laps). I think this should be safe, but we'll have to wait and see. OPT dropped down to a 1:22.495.

I've bailed on this one. Might throw in a mercy bronze session towards the end.

Car is great, track is fine. Mentally the barriers and walls scare me. I'm not in the 107 gold club so I'm at peace letting this one go.

I am top 250 in the uk for the uk only time trial for uk only people in the uk.

Was stuck for like an hour at 1:23.1

Then it finally clicked and I managed to get a 1:22.67. Which I am simultaneously happy with, but also know there is more in it for me.

As for the walls: Just pretend they aren’t there, it’s fine… everything is fiiiinnnee. 😅
