Spa is such a slow and long lap, boring me to the point where I can't bring myself to do longer stints, if at all. Managed to regain gold by a small margin with 13.8 and opt 13.4. after a WR improvement dropped me to silver.

Still in silver with the Viper. First attempts got me swearing. A lot, lol. I do like the occasional throwing-around-overpowered-car-with-bad-tires, but I can't yet wrap my head around the track's layout and flow. To me, it feels like sliding around all the worst tight corners of all tracks, drawn on a flat surface with a few banks thrown in to unstabilze the car. Gold probably is achievable here, but it's not gonna be easy.

I think you have them backwards? 13.847 gets you gold on Viper TT? Or do you mean 2:39.8, which is gold on Spa - and if you can get gold on spa then no way you don't get gold on BMB! There is only 3,900ish people with Gold on spa right now out of 122k participants.

You're right, I mixed them up. 39.8 is where I'm at on Spa. Haven't done too many laps at BMB, but I don't know the track layout at all, so it's harder for me than Spa.
 
Down from a 13.7 to a 13.4 in the Viper. Switched to manual transmission and it really helps the brakes. Also braking earlier helped as well.

Frustratingly there’s a 13.1 in the optimal, but I think whatever I gain in sector 1 I pay for in sector 2 due to the line through the right hander, so maybe it’s not a real optimal.
 
Now that the Porsche eSports event is over and my Gold time a BMB is still holding, I figured I'd have another go at Spa while there's still time.

No improvement, but that's not too surprising since it's been a few days since I've visited it. Out of 10 laps, I feel like I only got through Eau Rouge good once, but I've been working on the line and courage through there. Maybe something will click over the next couple days.

Optimal lap still about 0.9 seconds outside Gold, and only 0.2 faster than my current record.

OK through sheer luck I got a 1:12.9! And that’s with a 21.1 in the first sector when a 19.8 is possible. But however much I try I can never replicate my sector 2 and 3 so I think best to quit now.

Glad I spent the time with this type of car though, I couldn’t even get gold a few days ago but I think I’ve got it figured out now.

What an amazing lap! Just a friendly tip, stripes on the Viper make you slower (well known around these parts 👀), so definitely just keep doing what you're doing and don't add stripes!

Hi guys

Quick post for me as life is busy! Caught up with both TT’s this weekend, can’t say I’m a fan of either… Spa is already a long track without it being damp! And then a difficult technical course with a car that can barely go in a straight line without losing control. Yeah. We are getting somewhere though, both are currently gold 🤗

For anyone struggling to get the Viper stopped, it looks like the WR is set using ABS WEAK. If anyone hasn’t tried that already it’s worth giving it a go as it does get the car stopper before that slow right hander. It makes the car even more lively though so only recommended if you have taken your brave pills 😂

I know I can go quicker at Spa but I don’t really have the patience to play the grip lottery again, this might be my final time 😂

This was pre abs setting revelation so I know there’s time to be had here. I don’t enjoy it but it’s much easier to grind than spa (getting the bus stop chicane wrong on a good lap is pain)

Nice times there mate!, I can't wait to get into the Viper when I get back, looks like a lot of sliding fun!, glad I golded spa before I left 🤣, I could absolutely find some time there but was glad it was over 🤣🤣

Still a few days to enjoy the sun and the food (altho no more raw steak hachee for me cause I was sick as ***** yesterday 🤣🤣)
 
While everybody is focused on BMB, I've put some efforts on Spa Francorchamps this morning and finally, I've turned bronze into silver with a new PB at 2:43.077 🥈
To be very honest, I'm not very proud of this mediocre score but this improvement worth Cr. 750.000 :D

Congrats with silver! Score isn't that important IMO, as long it is good for a medal and I'm sure it will hold to the end, then I'm satisfied.
 
I don't doubt that the combination of the Red Bull X2014 Jr. and Spa-Francorchamps was picked because of the Belgian GP this past weekend - much like how there was that time trial featuring Gr.1 at Le Mans in June, or the Acura NSX at the Daytona Road Course shortly after the Daytona 24h. Now I'm wondering what other upcoming motorsport events could have an influence on the time trials. That's before we consider new cars/tracks that are coming, too.
