Morning folks,

I had another Yaris run this morning,
after all those miles i know where to find the time, buckle-piste downhill and the right hander after that kills me everytime, i tried the Ninja approach again but that killes me even getting before the brakingzone
i had several laps where i am not that far af the ghost but i just don't know how to take that section properly....
Then when i have a descent lap.......... then comes the final turn...

I fiind this very difficult! ( more fun than i had though it would be, but also more frustrating )

Hi Everyone

Been having a real blast at Colorado Springs. I was content with my initial gold time, but the way the goal post has been moving over the weekend, I decided to dedicate a bit more time to it.

Currently at 1:26,328. There is much more time to be had but its so crazy putting all the sectors together. There has been so many times I had a killer sector 1 with a 16.5xx only to bottle it all up in sector 2.

Unpopular opinion, but we unquestionably need more time trials in the dirt!

Happy Hunting Folks...

OK ninjas whoever is wondering how to get fast time on Colorado with Yaris...

@Mistah_MCA has posted a lap guide, best guide I have seen for this TT so far so I strongly recommend to watch it.

Pay attention to his words " be careful about turning input so you don't slide too much" because that is what keeps momentum or kills it. (since I am not native english speaker I just say it differently in my "how to drive on snow" when I say "do not rotate car too much" but we mean same thing)

he got 1:25.8 on controller

@Mistah_MCA out of curiosity, what are your controller settings ?

Tiny improvement at BMB, entered the 56s that's cool (and I think my gold is secure there now). 40 laps in, T1 begins to imprint my brain.

No improvement at CS, not even touched the 28s, 50 laps in. There's time to work on it so hopefully I'll improve a bit.

Wow... That was stunning lap, well done mate!
Are we seeing new PB hopefully?

Edit* can you share ghost
Thank you.

PB - in terms of global position? Probably not as my best is 27th. Currently 20th (another slight improvement after last post) but that's going to drop a lot over the next week and a bit.

Ghost - Happy to. Just tell me how to.
Edit: I think I've done it. Saved the replay with friends from showcase. Search tag hscolorado

Well, I picked a real good time to get back into TT's after a bit of a hiatus.

The TT with the Yaris is kicking my a**. I've put over an hour into it and I'm only at a 1:27.057. Still not good enough for gold.

I can't for the life of me understand how you guys are holding 4th gear in turn 4(?, the left hand kink up the hill). I just over-rotate and bog like crazy, and my fastest times have me in third through there.

I've got a lot of smoothing things out to do, but this one just about had me rage quitting this morning!

Glad to see GTP is just as fast, if not faster than ever!
