What was the best with Colorado Rally Time Trial. I had amazing time from very first day I tried, and yes it was bouncy and difficult but very addictive at same time. And for me personally it was best fun I had on any of TTs so far.
What made it special is a very special person on this thread
@half_sourly who made it an amazing battle to the very last hour. From very beginning I guess on day 3 of TT (for me day 2 since I was abroad with work) I managed to reach 26.3 and if I remember it was P20 which was amazing. And then
@half_sourly joined to drop the time, I remember our battle who will be first to reach 1:25 since we saw it was possible.. and it was... and we were just dropping times more and more.
We have been pushed lower on global leaderboard but we would go again and again and dropping times.
On Sunday we were at high 1:25 and competing and dropping time until I first managed to drop it under 1:25.6
And yeah, you guess right who beat my time for 0.001 sec...

So what to do, instead of spending Sunday off the screens, controller was itching my fingers.
Half Sourly dropped it under 1:25.5xx then again.
We talked, shared replays, ideas, approaches, start in 3rd, then 4th, check Camit, finish in 3rd, lift off here, go as close as you can here... keep smooth movements as much as you can and so on...
I then managed to drop Half Sorlys time again to 25:4 and then to 25:350.. which of course resulted in him showing me his skills by dropping it even lower two laps 1:25:302 and 1:25.306, we were studying sector time and he shows me 1:25.0 flat possible and I am.. well I just have to go again...
Sessions started reaching 500 kms (5 hours sessions) and I was instead of dropping from .350 finishing on .370, so close, until last night where I had luck in S2, I am passing S2 and see 0:57.475 (lowest before was 0:57.625 and of course instead of keeping calm I brown flag myself instantly and unsettle car slightly in first left hander in S3 but I see... it is not soo bad... will it hold.. will it hold... remember exact point where you are in 4th.. how much steering input before last right hander. when to shift to third..
and guys, you know how I am on gyro.. so I start moving up fron sofa in hope that if I move controller closer to TV , car will go faster... and it did haha...
1:25.211... I can't believe it.. I am P10.. my ghost has been saved, for very first time, and it is on very last day, 12 hours until end... AND OPT shows 1:24.9
It was amazing TT, amazing battle, we pushed each other to our limits and I was just lucky to grab this one.
@half_sourly next rocket ship ticket is your, snow or dirt, you pick.
And yes, as a gratitide for all the work you put into statistics.. a freshly brewed coffee click on your signature is incoming...
