Interesting lap, a little ragged but the time was still there. The speed you carry through the hairpin is utterly insane, I will try 3rd as well because wheelspin is tough to keep in check. But your minimum speed is crazy high through the hairpin, damn.
Just in case you don't know: the poster of the lap is not @Mistah_MCA . These lap time posts have kind of a "First!!" vibe to me but then again they are helpful and relevant to this thread which is why the posts are useful. Just a bit odd.

Are you talking about the jerky stuttering of the wheel? I am not sure I understand what the issue is. Ignore the rest if I misunderstood.

I guess just like regular wheels the game inserts the gyro input directly into the car's steering wheel just like when using an actual steering wheel as your input method. This is in comparison to the smoothing that is applied to the controller inputs.

I guess that a gyro sensor is just simply limited with regards to its sensitivity. Therefore the game receives a signal that the controller in your hand gets stuttered back and forth without an ability to know that that's not true but an artifact of the gyro sensor being slightly off. A wheel on the other hand is all mechanical which allows for much more precise (or even perfect) translation from what the user does to their wheel to what happens in the game.

What I am trying to say is that there is probably no fix to this jerkiness unless you are fine with PD applying a smoothing function to the gyro inputs just like they do with the analog sticks. I would guess that this would make it worse.

Theoretically it could also be an actual malfunction of the controller being used and the gyro sensor normally being perfectly accurate. Maybe try a different controller and see if the effect persists.
Yes, jerky stuttering of wheel.

As example of another racing game, Drive Club, which I play on same controller and on same PlayStation with same hands and same steering movements, there it works smoothly and nicely in all angles. So in my logic, that means it can demonstrably work without twitching and it should in Gran Turismo 7 too.

I have very little free time this week and next because of a big project at work.
With my commute I'm away from home from 04:30 till 18:00 (6PM 😉) then making dinner, spending some time with the kids, etc leaves me with around 1,5hours actual free time that the misses dont want me spend racing 🤣

Got a decent time in the Chapparal with 1:30.580 but my optimals were showing high 1:29's...
Litteraly drove 4 laps at Interlagos and it will probably be my last 🤣
First lap 1:49.8xx, second invalid, 3rd lap 1:49.256, 4th lap 1:50.xxx
It'll have to do... 🤷‍♂️

Happy hunting boys.

Morning my fellow addicts,

Quick session in the NSX this morning.
Felt good, had a lot of chances for something far better, ran a lot of high .4xx's so we gained something here 😁😂
There was even a lower .4 somewhere between them so won a few places on the board back 😁
