I was at 2.94% at Northern Isle. Didn't feel save at all.

Since I didn't want to dabble with the hand break and since it isn't that impactful I followed Naif's ghost which was the first I could find that didn't use it (39th currently).

I managed to improve using CSA strong and TC 0. Any TC cuts the power and I lose the rear anyways if I don't massage the throttle.

I can somewhat keep up under breaking but there is no way in the world for me to get the power down like the top players do.

Getting into the 18s is tempting but getting these seemingly small improvements is really hard here. I think I will leave it at that.

At Lago Maggiore I had only done a few Banker laps for silver so far.

After studying the lap @Gomario JSP just posted I hopped back on. After a few invalidated laps I got the hang of it. The most important revelation was taking the esses in 4th and maintaining a speed of about 155 kph through the second and 170 kph through the final S. This was huge for a nice flow through it. Thanks a lot for the upload. All of these by all you aliens here are much appreciated.

Been gone a while. If anyone wants the gory details message me. Anyway almost 5 weeks out of the hospital bed and pain at a manageable level, so I thought I would give the Citroen a try. I figured if I was really bad, at least I would have some time to try and get it together. Hence skipping the Hellcat, short lap and very little time left.
I see some of the aliens have returned. That should probably put me around 87th on the GTP leaderboard when all is said and done. :D It looks like all of the time watching MotoGP wasn't entirely wasted. This should at least keep me in the top 1000.

Mornig folks!

I was in doubt of the GT7-alarm-clock yesterday night but in the end i did set it, monday is a bad day in general so a bit less sleep can't harm much  ... so 5:30 AM Beep beep..... and until 6:45 to hunt for time at Maggiore. ( cause can't bring myself to doing the oval again, still 28th overall so happy with that.
The feelings was ok this morning, i had alot of promising sectors but all together seems cursed (like i yell every timetrial...i know )

Even had high .7 on the S1 and multiple mid 8's but sadly could't string the best once together.

Eventually did PB with a 24.919 (from a .957) so a few places stolen back :)
I'll prob. try this one again before thursday.

Very nice job!, and glad i could help a little :)

The s'es is such a difficult part of this combo, i can't tell you howmany laps were killed there..... tomany.
4th indeed seems the best way, you can even get away with 5th for even more stability btw, but i think i'm just a little quicker in 4th and i intent to lift on the last "left" curb of the s'es and most of the time i'll hit 5th there, reving it out in 4th is fine but VERY unstable and the exit onto that little straight there is once big slide..... that is...if you hit the curbe the right way

This is one of the more frustrating TT from all time! Tire downgrade just turn that car a burning tire machine. Most tricky part is the second curve thar require hot the apex in second part in curve, and depending on what place you hit the throttle, you lose a lot of time or undesteer to the wall. I used TC as I expected I would do in real life using these tires in a brutal machine.

First time I tried this Citroen in Nurburgring, I didn`t like this car. High amount of snap oversteer in that time.
Now in a regular circuit, I found a fun car to drive! Demands a lot of control from throttle, and every success is rewarding.

That thing is a handful, even with CSA on strong to be able to turn TC down even to 1. TC on 2 was cutting throttle to the point where I was going to struggle to really nail a comfortable gold time.

In the end, was able to get a 1:25.741, so I think that should be comfortable enough to keep me in Gold.

Murnings!

I had to try again ofcourse! .... so..... 5:30 AM again then :lol:

This was such a sloppy lap, my S1 was descent with a mid .8xx but kind of messed up the uphill after that, and the s'es was one biiiiiiiiigggg slide :lol:, it was fast though, i'm trying to elimintate the sliding there as much as possible but now starting to re-think that .

Did change T3, experimented a bit with 4th gear what seems to be harder to nail but far more stable when i do

Into the 24.8 , not to shabbyyy and probl. sticks for another top 100 ( what i didn't expect from this combo at all )

WHoop whoop :gtplanet:

Every time I read that, I fall off my chair...😂

But if I try to time myself at 5:30 in the morning, it will take me 10 minutes and 12 attempts... 😂 😂

When I was working, I also got up at 5:45... but I was a zombie... I did everything mechanically, on autopilot...
I was more or less awake when I started work at 7 a.m...

He gets up, drinks a coffee, and comes up with a top 50 list! 😲😲😲😂

Maybe I should try it...

No, that would be wasting electricity, and at 76, I risk damaging the few healthy brain cells I have left... and they wouldn't be expecting that...😂😂

Actually... just for suggesting the idea, I've just received a strike notice if I insist...😂😂😂

Jomar, for your impressive times and the time of day you achieve them, you have my double admiration...:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:😂

I get up at 5, start working at 6 (finish between 12:00 and 14:00). I haven't used an alarm clock in years. Mornings are the most productive for me.

Coffee with caffeine is an absolute killer for me. As soon as i get used to it, mornings get hard and I'm tired all the time not matter if i get a morning coffee or not.

As soon as i cut of coffee completely (all daytimes) i recover and I'm much more spirited, especially in the morning.

 thanks buddy!

It gets harder though so early ( at 43 already ), but i still seem to be productive at those times, no wife, no kid, and most of the time.... sleepy cats, headphones on and focus. :):)

OK ninjas... For me it's time to get this spec 3 already, right, Thursday can't come quick enough... And are we getting two TTs, or no?
Polestar 5 on Brands Hatch, right?
Can it be Yas Marina too, and for gods sake please don't let it be x2019 junior fizzy drink.
What are you ninjas hoping for?

for me two, can't wait for a new track, polestar need to drop indeed timewise but I hope thats a special event, Yas marina would have been fire with that 296 GT3 but unlikely because that's the circuit experience if I recall correctly so I am a bit afraid for the new formula at Yas as the new TT, going side by side with the F1 😭
(That would be the only time again that I would try a formula TT though ) 😂

And then I would say Gilles Villeneuve in the Espace,

But looking forward to it, I need some changes of TT now!

More slippery slidy stuff like the current two.

Back from my two week holiday on Sunday, spent some time at Northern Isle, which went well in the end after initial struggles - won't go back as I am unlikely to improve and very happy with my placing.

Yesterday and today were at Maggiore. Delighted to find out I could still do right turns. Decent time and might go back depending on what we get on Thursday.
