Track time and temp/weather is different. Exit out completely to track selections, re enter and look at the clouds it will not be the same

I can confirm that time of the day changes on License tests. But I think that it does not on Circuit Experiences.
And I have tried Circuit Experiences "few" times... Example here under...

Edit: Maybe I can try again and focus on clouds this time and not on driving :D

Two possibilities:
  1. same format as regular online time trial, i.e. gold, silver, bronze depends on the WR.
  2. same format as licenses with presets for gold, silver, bronze times.
I am thinking it is more like licenses but then why call it a time trial. We will see. I personally like both options. Rather than some random 2 lapper race I don't really care about.

No that's not what I meant, sorry. It does say "online event" in the image. My point was that if it is just a fixed preset for gold, silver, bronze, then what's the online aspect of it? That's why I am leaning more towards @Wilsonson 's first option. I guess we'll find out soon enough :)

... On the other hand, two other events are also labeled "online events", and the race is clearly not an online race. Because if it was, it would render the weekly events useless for anyone without PS Plus. So maybe "online" only means "temporary" ... as in "the event is online for a limited time"

I am usually gold and done. But the Citroen without TC (CSA strong though) is tons of fun. I am also somewhat motivated to get my 2nd ever top 1,000. Sub 28.5 feels possible. Optimal sectors agree.

I guess I won't be coming back with all the new content tomorrow but we will see.

Chaps, I notice the new Time Trial Challenges are listed on the same page as the Lap Time Challenges. I'm taking the executive decision to treat the new weekly Time Trial Challenges as a separate thing from our longstanding fortnightly Lap Time Challenges. I will create a separate results thread for these.

But is this new Polestar Time Trial Challenge equivalent to those new so called time trials in the weekly challenges? It is my interpretation that the Polestar is a regular one of Time Trial like there had been numerous others in the past. But the specific wording is of course interesting. But I wouldn't put too much into the wording either. I doubt that they have a super strict set of rules about what to call what type of term and it is just a slightly sloppy wording maybe.
