Greetings fellow GTPlanet TT Assistent users.

You may have noticed that the plug-in has been extremely unreliable over the past week or so. After extensive debugging that nearly brought me to the brink of losing my sanity, I discovered that the root cause was … an improperly plugged-in network cable 🤣

Anyway, everything should be back to normal now. Enjoy, and let me know if you’re still experiencing any issues!

Also @Wilsonson brought to my attention that at least on Firefox for Android (perhaps other browsers as well), there was a bug that caused duplicate entries when you used the browser back button. This is fixed in the latest version, so if you're encountering this issue, simply update as usual.

Message to EbrahimX7:

I was joking the other day, but I had a big scare last night...
same symptoms as you: no more FFB on my TGT2... steering wheel completely loose... ☹️ ☹️ 😮 😮

I exited the game, restarted the PS5, and luckily everything went back to normal...
A TGT2-specific bug???..🤔🤔🤔

Strange... strange... Did you say strange? ....How strange...🤔🤔🤔

My T300RS does this often. Sometimes just pausing the game while driving and then unpausing will fix it. Other times, unplugging the wheel and then replugging it is required.

It is definitely an in-game bug

Polestar at Brands Hatch is pretty nice 🙂

I managed this at Lago yesterday. Did 2 more sessions today to try and get a sub . 5 but this might be as good as it gets for me. Would be my second top 1,000 ever if it holds.

Did another session at Yas Marina as well. The aliens are doing alien things and I'm awkwardly close to silver. Optimals and invalidated laps are well into the 49s but I wasn't able to put it together yet.

Personally I have 3 main areas of trouble.

T3 is insanely hard for me to nail. If you screw up T2 just a tiny bit there is no way for you to nail T3 and you will have to compromise the run up to T5 massively.

The exit out of T7 is just hopeless for me. Calster exits in 3rd. No matter what I do his ghost always leaves me in the dust.

Just like mentioned before the run through T13 and T14 is crazy. I have no idea how his ghost pulls away like that. I genuinely feel like I'm doing pretty well but the ghost is nowhere to be seen. Magic.

Did you give the data logger a try? It‘s quite revealing. I found that in general I stay on the brakes a lot longer than the ghost I am following. And my T7 was compromised because the line I took was too narrow. Obviously knowing my mistakes does not necessarily mean I am able to fix them, but it‘s a first step … ;)

I spent some more time in the Polestar with which I had more fun than I would have thought. Optimal is (ever so slightly) in the 49s, but not sure if I get another chance before it expires.

Also, I know there is always the placebo thing going on with every update, but I really feel like the FFB on the DD Pro has improved a lot. I saw some other people mention this as well. What do you guys think?

I told you there was more in it. Just before I laid this down, I was sitting at a 49.7, which would've been enough to keep me safe in the gold zone... However I wasn't completely satisfied and pulled another 2 tenths out of the bag, which put me 0.005 seconds behind my brother. It's insane how close we are sometimes.

Yes, I actually quite enjoyed the Polestar because the FFB felt better.

PD mentioned in the update notes they added something to improve to the realism and I think it worked, at least for me on the DD+.

Also Full Force is quite nice in terms of adding texture. All very nice for a long TT session.

What assist settings are you guys using for the Polestar challenge? Been messing with CSA and found strong to useful here.
I found it best (quickest) without any assists. For me, CSA strong made it feel even less responsive than it already is, I also tried TC1, it's safer for sure, it won't let you lose the rear so easy and you can nail a good 50.0xx lap, but at the same time I think it's a tiny bit slower.

Without any assists you really need to be surgically precise with the trailbraking and especially the throttle input, otherwise you're gone.

And I'm still chasing the 49s, had my first proper session last night, I think I'm at 50.025 maybe? Can't remember exactly, but the 49s are the goal here for sure.
I find it helps to get grip in the last corner.
That's what I cannot nail still. I am right on the bumper of a top ghost (with the available replay) through the whole lap, but right at the last corner it just drives away and I lose 2 tenths easily.

Probably because I've been absent here for some time which will make this outdated, but welcome back! Glad to see you were able to bring the rig back out!

Precision is important here, yes. Like you and @crome, I'm chasing 49s too. Managed a 50.0xx with CSA strong last night.

hmm I am also at 50.0x and last corner is killing pretty much most of my time ... @Vule and @crome I guess I will try TC but I kind of think I am always slighty faster without TC honestly. if I improve I will share if it was with or without TC

I doubt this will be relevant for you, since I am on controller/gyro but I was really struggling to get last tenth until l lowered FFB max Torque to 1 from 10, when I lowered it I could rotate car much faster, maybe this can give you something, IDK I am not on wheel, but you can try if you want, and if you try, maybe you can share if it do something or not?

I didn't try CSA on the Polestar, but I found the oversteer to be fairly easy to catch on TC0 due to it being AWD and having the front to pull you out (somewhat) - which is rare for me, since on most TTs I end up finding myself fastest with CSA on strong in order to allow me the hope of completing a lap with TC less than 2. I ended up with a 50.7xx yesterday, so that should be plenty safe for gold, but now it makes me wonder if going back at it with CSA on strong and TC on 1 (or maybe still 0) could net me a slightly faster lap - especially on turn 2 and the final corner.

I am leery about the Espace time trial. I had my first go at the track for the weekly challenges and I am not sure if I am a fan of it or not. My 787B did not like it, but it also doesn't tend to like tight, technical courses anyway.
