I didn't try CSA on the Polestar, but I found the oversteer to be fairly easy to catch on TC0 due to it being AWD and having the front to pull you out (somewhat) - which is rare for me, since on most TTs I end up finding myself fastest with CSA on strong in order to allow me the hope of completing a lap with TC less than 2. I ended up with a 50.7xx yesterday, so that should be plenty safe for gold, but now it makes me wonder if going back at it with CSA on strong and TC on 1 (or maybe still 0) could net me a slightly faster lap - especially on turn 2 and the final corner.
I am leery about the Espace time trial. I had my first go at the track for the weekly challenges and I am not sure if I am a fan of it or not. My 787B did not like it, but it also doesn't tend to like tight, technical courses anyway.
I went back at it, after the Espace TT (below), for some reason and dropped myself to, I believe, a 50.280? CSA on Strong, TC on 0. Tried TC on 1, but it seemed like it was compromising my speed out of most corners. It would occasionally help on the last one, but sometimes it'd also just shoot me straight off the circuit, so I usually left it at 0. I think I have more time in that lap, as I believe my optimal was a 50-flat based on the too-many laps I did yesterday.
For Yaz Marina...yeah, still not sure I'm a real fan of that track, or its limits (mainly bollards
on the curbing), nor the Espace that seemed mighty unhappy doing anything other than accelerating in a straight line. Profuse amounts of understeer when you really don't want it, brakes that
mostly work, and then oversteer when you expect understeer. Some of that may be the nature of that track, too. Either way, needed CSA on Strong to drop down to TC1 and got a 1:49.274. Annoyingly, I had an invalid 1:49.4xx early on, at a time when I was gold, but only just barely. I chased that lap for many more before I finally replicated and then improved on it.
I don't expect I'll go back to that one unless gold somehow drops by a second, but the Polestar one is so easy just to go put lap after lap in. I'm in the low 300s (as of when I stopped yesterday), would like to see if I can get into the 50-flats or maybe, magically, a high-49. My ability to trail brake was just going out by that time, so I was losing my ability to get the car turned in for a corner nicely.
