Yeah, tbh words like these tend to age poorly coming from you 🤣

@half_sourly great effort! I tried to reclaim my rare spot at the top of my friends list yesterday, but somehow lost my mojo specifically in sector 2. I did set this optimal though, so the dream is still alive :D ...

Very nice first sector. I think my best was about 22.26. Similar sector 2 and 3 optimals. The nice thing about having what will hopefully be a top 100 is that you can relax and just do laps; often that is when the best times come.

Nice OPT btw, that's good for P19 😕:bowdown:

Almost closing the TT from Renault Espace F1 but woul like to share my gold lap I got some days ago. In the attempt, I tried to maintain the 3rd gear most of time and it was enough. After I relized that this is not the best, because the high undetsteer in entry, so there a lot to improve, but I will not to try.

This Spa + modern Gr1 + RS tyres is insane and fun! I tried Audi R18 instead Porsche 919 because Audi has less gears, so the drive has more flow in my opinion.

Since the SPEC III update, I've been experiencing disconnections with my DD Pro with QR2.

I had never had anything before the Spec III, and yesterday 5 times in one hour.

Is anyone else having the same problem ?
I've had this problem now twice in the last two nights? What could possibly be causing that that is specific to Spec III?

Fun car, terrible track.

Really wanted that top 100 but it just wasn't happening, I could get individual sectors and corners really good, but never a whole lap. Very frustrating.

I had this suspicion when they announced this track was coming to the game. It is very obviously designed for high downforce race cars, and doesn't really work for anything other than that. So many corners are just awkwardly partial throttle trying to ease round the corner until you can put the power down because you don't have enough downforce to take the corner flat out. The chicane is another annoyance, with the fastest line being to thread the needle between the kerb and the bollard, missing that invalidates the lap or turns the car into a pogo stick.

The entirety of Sector 3 is just awkwardly fumbling around low speed corners and abusing track limits, attempting to get the car to turn in towards the apex, and then struggling to put the power down afterwards.

At least the Espace is a pleasure to listen to and feels pretty neutral to drive for the most part. Could do with a bit more turn in and better suspension set up for low speed.

Definitely volume up for this lap.

Looking forward to the Mines BNR34 around Tsukuba, seems like a fun combo. Probably give Gr1 at Spa a quick try first to get it out of the way.

A story of a million what ifs, this one. Jeez. At least another top 100 in the books but could've been so much better.. :banghead: Not particularly sold on how this car feels, I found it pretty annoying to drive, especially how it completely dies on the kerbs. Trying to drag it through the hotel section was genuinely awful.

Now four hours of sleep and back to work after having been there for 12 hours today and yesterday. Good night! Top tier health behaviour!

It might just be a coincidence.

I followed @Jeje6410 advice (thanks again!) and so far I've done three 30-minutes sessions and everything is fine.

I loosened the ring pulled the axle back slightly pushed it forward into place and then tightened the ring.

That's all.

racing hards 😒 😒

Well... this is definately not going to motivate me
More slop for the hogs, then.

It's not like this game has over 500 unique cars that almost all have amazing and unique potential for a time trial, as well as car tuning depth unmatched by any other racing game on the market (only used twice for TTs, mind you).

Nope, none of that matters, gotta get those numbers up with the most mind-numbing class in the game on one of the most mind-numbing tracks. I'll never understand how these events get the highest player counts.

The results for TT178 at Yas Marina Circuit in the Renault Espace F1 '95 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT are in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Here are some interim statistics for TT179 at Tsukuba Circuit in the Mine's BNR34 GT-R N1 base.

Interesting, the shorter version of the course, but with the chicane.

Should be doable, if not particularly exciting, but who knows, maybe I'll be surprised.
