If any of fast ninja experts have done some good improvement mod on brake pedal on Thrustmaster pedals T3PA Gran Turismo edition I will gladly hear your experience.
The best mod for T3PA is replacing them with T-LCM :D

Here are some mods for the wheelbase when you get bored of the factory one:

Thanks, I am good for now with what I got but I think I have read people do some improvements on brake pedal and was curious what 🙂

Back to you @330_D 😜 … no hope of catching Jomar though 🤷‍♂️

Well, getting a wheel for present was pretty much unexpected honestly, no questions asked about any details or anything, a big box just arrived at home without me having any clue about it. 🙂

Tested three attempts, say 10-15 laps each with Supra, approximately 50 invalidated laps until I got one lap valid, ouch 😬
Love it and a lot place for improvement 🤣

@half_sourly you can change my icon for steering from Supra TT

Nice. Good luck with the new toy. It would be good to see your setup once you have it sorted out.

This was my first wheel and it's a nice place to start. I spent a lot of time messing about with the brake pedal, using the rubber bungee that comes included for a bit, and also putting a foam tennis ball under the pedal so the final 30% had more resistance. But looking back probably the smart move was to just sell them and upgrade to the T-LCM or another TM option. The sensors are very dust sensitive on the T3PA and needed cleaning out a lot which became a pain.

Or don't worry about mods or load cells, I used to think it was important but I've never had anything on my Fanatecs.

Finally got gold at Barcelona, with the Genesis G70 Gr.4, not a very solid gold, but hey... my first on the wheel so I'll take that !

Best is around 1:16.727 IIRC, gold treshold is 1:16.770 so the margin is thin. Optimal is around 1:16.4XX but I am leaving tomorrow for a few days so I think I'll leave it there.

Going to do some laps at GV now. I'd like to reach silver there but I am 3s away at the moment 😅

Hi everyone,

I've been feeling a bit demotivated lately, and the TTs haven't been going my way... I don't really feel like tying knots in my arms at Tsukuba, and I don't have the energy to battle it out with the 919 and the beacons at Spa...

Is it my age catching up with me?.......🤔🤔😂... I settled for silver in both races...

Actually, I must say that I'm really enjoying the Power Pack races...

But I thought it would be nice to end the year with another gold medal...
So last night, I took a little trip to Spain and came back with a 1' 16.480, which I think should hold up...

Then I jumped into the Supra... but that's another story... there's understeer, oversteer, track limits...
In short, I think I'll settle for the silver medal and go back to the Power Pack...😂

So, I'd like to wish a happy New Year's Eve to those who are celebrating, and a very happy New Year to all of you and your families...

May 2026 be a peaceful and happy year in every way...:cheers::gtpflag:

My first attempt at using Capcut, turned out pretty well!

The main reason why I love this wheel so much (T598) is its so silent!

Yes indeed, nice video, your inputs are so smooth. Also thanks for saving the ghost 🙂
Talking about ghost, in 99.9% of time you are pulling away from me, in pretty much all TTs, but in Grand Valley, sector 2, first two left handers, I catch a tenth on you. You shift to fourth I stay in third and I think I start braking slightly earlier than you and have a bit less brake pressure and by the second left hander I am closest to your ghost, like ever. In case you are curious to try 🙂 image down here

Also, which pedals are you using, the ones that come with T598 or some others?

And for my own laps times, I am learning and slightly improving, this lap should have been 1:53 but third sector is eating up all time I gain in first two sectors 😅

Still, some improvement.
Old habits die hard haha, see I need to let go of my gyro driving style now 😅

My upshift to 4th there certainly isn't required, but I generally like to always downshift into a corner. But downshifting into gear 2 from gear 3 causes rev limiter bouncing issues.

So I momentarily engaged a higher gear just to engine brake into the corner.

Standard pedals bro.

I was dreading this TT, hesitated for days to even try it, because I knew I would hate it... And I was right :D

Didn't manage to get into any kind of flow state in this first session, but still the time is OK I guess... Messed up the chicane completely, wrong line, late entry, missed apex, very late throttle, so I think my optimum will be somewhere around .450-500, if I decide to give this a proper chance :D

Thank you. So you use standard pedals that are not load cells pedals and regardless you are on top with some world records too. Amazing skills, just proves who has the skills, you still can get world records without the super advanced equipment.
Regarding down-shift from fourth to third, yes, I know what you are saying, and who am I to give you advices, you are currently P2 and I am almost two seconds behind you. I just drove 50 laps this morning and just shared my observation that you pull away everywhere else, but I catch some time on you in first two corners of sector two, so I just shared that. I apologize for giving you advices without you asking for them. 🙂

Had a good run in the Supra this morning and was able to consistently chip away at my previous best. Other than dropping a tenth in the middle sector, this was my best splits of the session.

Not normally a fan of yellow but after doing the power pack races to win the car, my son walked in as I was adding the livery and the yellow was his choice. Clearly a fast color!!

My brother gave the game away by telling me to brake deeper into turn 1. However he also said that my last sector was really good. The GT by Citroen Group 4 is my favourite Group 4 car, as it gave me the most amount of wins in GT Sport, so getting into it again was fun.

That Supra is horrific and was an absolute unpleasant mess to drive. Best I could manage today was a 1:55.702 with CSA on strong and TC on 1. I could go faster, I am sure, with it on 0, but even CSA did little to assist (makes me wonder sometimes if "strong" is meant to occasionally be a joke). I really was not connecting with that vehicle and likely will not attempt to improve despite being considerably further down the placement list than usual (I probably still will, because I am a moron and hate myself and my sanity).

Yuck.

A little progression has been made but there is way more time on the table but although she has very nice butt, she ain't nice to me most of the time 🤣, but very enjoyable challenge this one, I'll try again.

Very smooth run, and clearly visible why my ghost is running away on every exit 🤣, you have different tires on the rear or something? 🤣🤣

Well done!

@Vule good lap!, and yes very true indeed, there is just somuch time to find or loose on every exit, my fastest bridge split was .189 this morning, but a PB set at 1:53.725 on a .4xx split....🙄😭🤣🤣

Not push my luck, did my back in on last day of work before holidays, then woke up with flu day later, typical before holiday season. Anyways...back feeling OK today and not coughing my guts up. So had a go at improving my abysmal thumbstick effort at Barcelona. 5 or 6 laps and .8seconds off a silver.

hope all had a wonderful Christmas 👍made it into the 18s, with a1:18.999. Lol

Yes, I think I even had one or two bridge splits into the very high 13s but of course, screwed up the chicane, or even worse, hit the wall in the tunnel in the literal last "corner" if you can even call it that. It's so awkward that one, in the first 10 attempts I think I managed to properly start maybe 1 lap, let alone finish, all others were wall hits, inside or outside, horrible :D

Hi @Metalgear9493

I wanted to thank you for your spirit of sharing, I am very happy to be able to download your best ghost and follow you... finally rather try to follow you 😅

It is reassuring to see that an alien also sighs like us humans 😁

Regarding your base and your steering wheel, your video clearly demonstrates the silence of operation both about the FFB and the shifters, I find that my Logi RS HUB a bit too loud.

I also notice that the inputs seem very fluid and consistent but here, the pilot must be there for a lot.

Finally, it seems to me that the angles are a little smaller. As for Tsukuba, do you keep a setting lower than 1080 ?

By the way, I take this message to congratulate you @Barareklam. What a quick adaptation at the wheel? At the same time, the one who masters sterring motion is certainly capable of flying with mittens while still wearing a camisole.
