No replay. They would have had to have been pretty quick with the instant restart then exit tactic to prevent the replay from uploading considering how short the lap is, wouldn't take more than a few seconds for the server to upload a 1 minute lap.

Well that went better than I expected. I brought my time down to a 2:02.081, which would've been enough to get gold but I felt like I had another 2 tenths on the table. Turns out I had more than that. I'm satisifed with my efforts here so I'm moving on to the Camaro now.
 
Hello everyone!

It's been a while since posting last, so I'll try to keep it brief.

Still pushing when possible and I'm constantly impressed seeing a lot of the community times! I finally cracked a Top 100 time! Even if it's only the AFEELA 1 Special Time Trial event, I'm proud to have finally done it!

I wish you a lot of save, fast and mostly fun miles! , goal in life achieved buddy!

Then...no laps in the Camaro that's a wrap for me, not good for the average placing but good for less frustration 🤣

So SubaWuuu Germans hunting then...
I tried so hard @crome and had such promising sectors but never had them together, finally did run a PB with a decent S1 and decent S2 ...split .275 but I absolutely stuffed up S3..... 🥵😡🤣🤣
This would have been it but I failed 🤣

Did stole a few places back though 😁

Wow, what a beauty, congrats! Are you sure about that last bit though? It says „GT4“ on the back!

(I apologize, I need to take every opportunity to crack a dad joke without my daughters rolling their eyes at me ;))

You came very close though. If it gives you any comfort (I am sure it does) … while I did catch you and @bigfluffy888 for the time being, I was also hunting for my first podium in that league I mentioned, and failed by 5 thousandths 🙈 … so I know the feeling.

How did you like the handling of this car? I thought it was going to feel like a big boat, but after a few laps it handled surprisingly well in my opinion.

Really enjoyable If you respect the cars cornering limits. You can easily plant the throttle exiting the corners and not have any annoying understeer.

No track days in Tokyo with the Amuse, nor any track days at the foot of the wind turbines with the Impreza......

because.....


as the seat I’d designed and built myself had reached the end of its life,
I followed my brother’s lead and bought a nice Oplite seat.....😍😍

Once it arrived, after fitting it and making the adjustments to get it just right, I’m now ready for a spin in the Camaro.....😂

it’s Christmas come early....😂😂........I’m absolutely buzzing.....😂😂

Hey folks - happy weekend. First time on track all week and targets were hit. First up in the Subaru - quarter of a second found just by virtue of stitching all the good sectors together to duck under 2 mins!

Then onto HSR - this might be one and done. It’s quite fun, but not sure I have the patience to chase thousandths. Happy with the time though.

It’s been an eternity since I last saw the first time on the friends list...

One must be realistic because some aliens have not yet entered the dance.

Since the gas pedal was starting to flake again last night, I wanted to swap in the AXC-Sim linear potentiometer for the gas pedal, TruBrake and a new harness.

And I'm glad I did get the harness...because I think this may have been the problem all along.

Cool...TruBrake will take a little getting used to, but I quite like it already.

The new potentiometer setup is real smooth in operation...except that above ~90% pedal travel (where it thinks it is at 100% throttle), it drops to about 60%.

I've, thus, had to set my pedal travel up to only max at like...50%, so I can get full throttle without holding my foot almost at full pedal travel, which likely isn't gonna happen. As such, I basically only have full throttle or no throttle unless I'm really paying attention to try and get somewhere in between.

Sigh, nothing's ever easy. Already sent them an email...but not much I can do in time trialing for the time being, unless I swap the old stuff back in and hope the cable was always the problem...
