Evening Folks.....yes.... I ran some laps in the evening for a change while the wife was showering 🤣

For once i had a lap without big mistakes, very solid S1 with a 48.585 and a 46,9 on S2
Felt very fast so was a tiny bit reserved on the last weightshiftimg oversteery braincracking corner, which caused a lot of very fast red laps already.

But very pleased with this one, not to Shaabbyy at all!

@Ed_Night start preparing my German citizenship cause these are German times! 😁🤣😂
Today was my last session on the track and 140.6 miles later I improved my time to 2:12.505. Since I exceeded my PB expectations I decided to stop. Tomorrow is a new day, a new TT challenge.
Very nice result there buddy, I had a real struggle to keep up with you, good to have another friend on the board that keeps the competition on fire...... although....I have too many friends on my list now that are just to fast 🤣😂

Well done!

😭had another go at Road Atlanta and improved a good bit (more than 1s) and I was confident gold was 1:30.4XXX so with my 1:30.194 I was very happy (and annoyed of losing the car on exiting some turns very frequently), so I called it quit.

Then I saw the real gold time...

I wake up early tomorrow so I'll give it a last go. My optimal is in the 29s so there's hope.

Are you running with CSA on Strong and TC on 0? It helps keep the car in check tremendously, without losing gobs of time due to the throttle being cut.

No assist yet, hesitating to put CSA on, not being sure how much it will help versus / slow me. You seem to say that CSA is not a hindrance there, so I'll try it tomorrow :)

Yup, it does not slow you down at all, unlike ASM (usually) and TC.

Sometimes I question how much it does as I go around in a circle, but usually it'll keep you from instantly destroying your lap.

I used to try and avoid using it, but realized that I'm gonna end up using it so...why not just start with it on.
So close yet so far. Oh well the hunt for the elusive top 100 time goes on.....

Final time (exactly the same as @Gomario JSP at the time of posting):

1:28.185 which is/was 112th

Yeah, I knew I should've just left well enough alone with the Miata TT, as I wasn't even as fast as my previous best time before last night, so, I guess .208 is where I'll stay. Car just wasn't behaving the same at all.

Finally managed to find some time at Trial Mountain and get back into gold. Hopefully this holds ecause I'm not real excited to spend any more time on this one.

Hahahah we dead even yet again.

I've never ever seen a TT difference even close to the gap my fellow aussie has on the field right now, its ridiculous and if ibwere him id be looking to get to the big end of year event as he has the pace.

I only needed about 25 full laps in the Toyota to get silver. Was following the ghost of the oil sheikh ADAM18, & later I could hardly smell the ghost of the Englishman Tidgney, but found out late enough that using stabilizer assist was the only way for me, the car felt like it was on ice&snow in the turns.

I cannot for the life of me get a gold on the MX5/miata road America. I’m about 0.4 seconds off. I am going insane if insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Gold on crown was much easier

Interesting. Completely different for me. I accepted silver in the Crown pretty fast but gold in the MX-5 took me about 3 laps.

Thanks @MP81 CSA helped (at least in my mind), lost the car once, but at least that's 1/4th of the occurences compared to yesterday.

Managed to gold by a sliver on lap 7 and went just under 30 on lap 10, good enough for me !

Sector 1 was the worst part, T1 ok, but after that...

Just behind @KAlex122 on my friends list (only difference he did 3 laps to get there while I did 60 😅) and just in front of @ikon_313 which is unusual, I bet he did one lap and went somewhere else 🤣

This was a competitive TT with many people partaking and getting gold.

Hey folks,

I'm short on time these days, apologies for posting so infrequently. I did a couple of shorter sessions at Trial Mountain and enjoyed it quite a lot. Managed a 2:12.837 which isn't too shabby in my books, but of course pales in comparison to what @bigfluffy888 @half_sourly and especially my Dutch nemesis @Gomario JSP are doing here ... slow down guys, will you? 🤣

Anyway, if I get another chance to go again I might find another tenth or two, but that's definitely the limit.

Happy lapping!

Had time for an early session. Absolute joy. I already used the car for some single player races and it was a joy even in comfort softs. The racing hards make it even better.

Optimal was in the 13.4s. My PB lap was very close to perfect for what I deem possible for my skill set. I completely botched T3 though. Was up over 3 tenths in a later invalidated lap.

I usually don't come back after comfortable gold times but this is one of the most enjoyable TTs in a long time for me.

The results for TT196 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in the Mazda Roadster Touring Car are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT are in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Here are some interim statistics for TT197 at Trial Mountain Circuit Reverse in the Toyota Crown Athlete G '13 / Toyota Crown Athlete G Safety Car.

Very nice TT, this Giulia is very easy to drive, no wheelspin since it has no power and it's on racing hards, very light and nimble, not a single assist is needed, other than weak ABS. I had a banker session just to get the feel of it, there is potential for 11s easy, I kept messing up the last turn, not cutting it enough, and of course turn 3, my arch nemesis on this track, but it will be done.
