Looks like a fun one! Hopefully the final turn goes well for me, as I always seem to struggle with it, no matter the car - something about the physical motions of myself steering hard to the left, while also trying to let up off the brake pedal usually leads me to keep braking longer than I'd like and thus understeering. Default ABS may be my key there, but Weak may be better elsewhere in terms of actually being able to stop the car if it's boucing.

Another fun TT event! My morning marathon run only got me a foothold in silver so I think this is going to be a bit of a challenging one to gold.
I am sure you will get the hang of it quickly.

Did 10 laps on lunchbreak and comfortably into the gold zone. Not 100% sure it'll hold though, fingers crossed.

Very nice combo.

Followed @Vule's ghost who once again had the nice gesture of getting a top ten, no need to search for a ghost when someone on your friends list gets one 😁

Haven't really delved into this track too much until now, weak ABS used.

I love this Alfa but as you guys already mentioned , exploring where you can cut the most is not really fun.. also I think Racing tires on this Alfa are just to sticky, I'll try quick gold and out....

It is a legit race car though so RH makes sense, there's just not a lot of power for the chassis, Alfa's philosophy at the time was light weight and fuel sipping for enduro racing.

ye, i know mate, I'm big Alfa fan, I never bought irl any car that isn't Alfa.. but going in depth here, I'm not sure racing tires in gt7 are equivalent of having racing tires back in the day ..

btw I did 2 laps, did 2:14.7 with many mistakes so even tho it probably won't be gold, ig this kne is going to be easy to gold for much more people than other TT

Mileage seem to vary among those who alreeady tried. I, for once am in gold after my first stint so I would think like you, but people who are faster than me all year round aren't in gold (yet) so it seems that it clicks with people to various degrees.

idk, I used to be fast before when I had wheel, now I'm struggling on buttons and Trial Mountain is very difficult for me.. but also I didn't know about safety car having LSD tho lol.. I did mileage like for Trial Mountain alon more than Suzuka+Atlanta+Lago Maggiore combined 😢

First go around, what a session that was. Been a while since I found a time trail where I was just..in the zone. No real target, just went and in some ways I felt like I was on autopilot. Got silver thinking it was gold but still happy with that seemingly effortless run.

Went out for three more laps and there it is was:

Another 2 Million in the books. Now to figure the crown (Safety car just for something different) before getting behind the while of the comfy Alfa.

very close both, but I'll put my broken pad to rest for some time, hope I somehow get lucky, I'll have 50 mil in game for the first time if somehow this 2 is enough.. I never drove on Lago Maggiore before so at least I learned it and golded circuit experience:) IMG_20260409_194641.webp

Gave the Alfa a run, I thought I'd go OK as I do well with grippy but low powered cars. Ran a 14.1 lap 4 and that outta be enough I reakon. Fun car, would love a daily race in it. Including the replay because it's an Alfa and sometimes you learn more from a regular player rather than the freaks of nature ;)

First laps in the Alfa tonight, very doable combo on the remote I must say!

And if it wasn't for the allowed lawnmowing it would have ben a perfect combo, such a nice power to weight ratio and very fun to drive!

Painpoint is getting it rotated into T4 and knowing were to leave the track and not get invalidated..... buy that's almost everywhere apparently 😂😂

Not to Shaabbbyy for a start

A short second session before bed, finally a decent lap. Judging by the sector times and the small mistakes I made, a rough estimate is somewhere in the .800 range, but that will have to be THE lap. And of course I would have to learn how to properly take the last corner.

Now that the RA TT has ended, I did my second session at Trial Mountain, and found it mildly less unpleasant than the first go at it. Still not overly enjoyable with the curbs waiting to ruin your lap, as well as a car that may or may not slow down, or turn, but I did at least get myself into the 2:13's with a 2:13.202.

Maybe have a high 12 in me, but honestly, that's pushing it. It's kinda an unpredictable handful - especially in the esses at the end of the lap - and if it manages to behave, there's always a curb there to invalidate things for ya.

Nice!

I can relate to the last corner.... finding a descent brakepoint there is very difficult, i never naild it ... yet...
had a descent lap this morning with a backstraight split of 9.584 and had a descent Bankyybooii ( wich i have a lot of trouble staying with P1... i just can't get that rotation or something ) but i totally went in to early on the last corner and messed up the line and also hit the rev limiter to on 3th, still PB though :lol:
