OK that should secure the gold I think...

Driven a few days ago utilizing weak ABS. Had some really good sections in the lap, but ruined with a pretty bad final corner where I found myself way out wide, aka not the racing line. Won't return to it as I didn't really enjoy the experience, as Is often the case when lapping around Lake Margaret.

Every single corner is a potential curb glitch waiting to happen:lol:

This has become a real thing these days, you set a very fast time ( for me though ) somewhere in the 30-ish worldwide.
You wake up, boot up..... and have been kicked down like a brick on you personal board
well done @Manimal and @bigfluffy888..... now stop steeling my places please :lol::bowdown::bowdown:

It wasn't realy in the cards this morning, had promising sectors but couldn't string it together...

The struggle was real, last sector was a real problem this morning, brakepoints, oversteer, snapping under braking on the curb... don't know why, but i had multiple faster S1 and S2's so there is room but it didn't came out today

It's not always working guys, so... my faster FAIL of this morning...a 301 on the pre-Bankybooi split but a stuffed up last sector :mischievous:
could have been a descent time!

Morning Guys

The Alfa at Lago is such a good combination. Have never driven this car prior to this, even though I had it in my garage. There are so many potential combinations of excellent time trials. I hope this is a sign of good things to come, instead of the ''boring" repetitive events we are used to.

I might have a little more in me for this one, but I'm close to my limit here. I need to return to Trial Mountain to attempt to get into the 12's.

Have an awesome week folks and Happy Hunting

Hey folks - managed to take another run in the Safety Car. I'm about a tenth and a half off my optimal time, but this is such a long lap, I 'm not able to hook it all together so I'm all done at 2:12.837.

Spent some time in he Alfa as well. About 3 tenths to recover, but I don't see me getting into the 11s.

Thank you good friend.... I had a productive session yesterday  There were a few laps where I felt truly locked-in and the car was alive. I'm learning that if I can be patient then sooner or later... it has a chance of happening. Turn 2 is quite difficult and I can only get the proper rotation and "jump" out of the turn maybe 20 percent of the time, but the very last sector remains my nemesis, where even a small deviation from the optimal line was causing the car to over-rotate and scrub off speed. It's like a 2 or 3 mph difference over the last two turns, but it adds up when so much of it is full throttle to the finish line. Will go again today...I'm fully expecting you guys to smoke past me

Wowzers! That’s fast, yourself and @Manimal could get new PB placing in this one for sure!

I had another go today, still not my fave but I do love this track; it’s got such a nice flow in places. There’s about 2 tenths to find at my pace but not sure I can hook it all up together, @bigfluffy888 you might be safe!

@Gomario JSP stop doing weekly challenges and get back here!

Great result buddy!, naaah, the two whisky sour won't help with the last sector 🤣, tomorrow morning I'm going to dethrone you 😇🫠😉🤣🤪

Quick run post work this evening in the Alfa. A tale of improvement and what could have been but for a stray blade of grass / pixel in the last turn. Took it a little steadier on the next lap and the lap time suffered, but still 3 tenths better than my previous best. Starting to think I can get below 2:12…

Another 124 miles in the Alfa and I was able to drop one whole tenth to a 2:12.795.

I have to ask: WHY WON'T THIS CAR TURN?

I invalidated almost all of my however ****ing many laps tonight because it just kept understeering and understeering and understeering.

Except on invalid laps, when it turns just fine. I truly do not understand what the hell is wrong with it.

Here's my replay. You can hear it just understeering like a son of a bitch for like half the course. Other laps? None whatsoever. Halp.

I don't think I've done enough here. The car lurches and leans through the corners and lacks rear stability, which is no surprise because the car isn't that sporty, despite what the badge might say.

This car on the other hand has much more grip and isn't a pain to drive theough the corners, however the brakes aren't great so I kept overshooting the big banked corner. Once I did figure out the correct braking point I was able to set decent times and take the absolute piss with the track limits. It's amazing what you can get away with.

Ya' know, when I saw the Alpha up for this weeks TT I got all excited to run it. Then remembered there's no clutch and H-gate shifting in the Sport TTs. :(. So be it. I've an alternative to racing, which may be more like just running, the car tonight over here.

Man, this one is being a bit of a struggle. A lot of little errors, like death by a thousand cuts. BUT, I did get a bit lower after a couple beers. I really want the 2:11's and get a top 100. At least I can see it now if I clean up S1 and S3, I know where I am slow there.

I didn’t know. Why is the use of the H Shifter/clucth combo unavailable?
In some cases it can give the advantage to the player using it, but since so few people actually have manual shifters, it was disabled.

Just take a look at the leaderboards for the fuel challenges for example, someone discovered that nursing the clutch at the bite point gives the car ability to use extremely low amount of fuel, and we have guys with the result of 33-35 km, and you can only realistically do 10 if driving without the clutch.
