I seems quite often that I say I spend as much time on trials I don't think I'll enjoy, only to put 400km into them anyway. The allure of the top 100 is quite addictive I guess.
The U9 is one of the more enjoyable electric driving experiences in GT7, it has really good balance and turns in nicely. Also doesn't try and kill you when you put the power down which is surprising given it has almost 1300hp. On the topic of power, it really doesn't feel like it has 1300hp, rather I would've guessed it had closer to 700. Apparently it'll do -100km/h in 2.3 seconds, I struggle to believe you could achieve this kind of acceleration in game, although I haven't actually tested it.
This ended up being quite the enjoyable combo, and it didn't take more than 100km to get down to a 46.4XX, but finding the remaining time was a challenge. Optimum had a 46.18X which I feel I could've actually achieved had I not run 1cm too wide at the T7/8 chicane...corner...section? Alas I had to settle for a 46.273 as it was getting a bit late to continue.
An unintended consequence of these electric cars is the lack of engine noise means the background music on the replay is pretty much unimpeded, so this video got a copyright strike unlike all my other Time challenge videos. Not that it matters, they're unlisted anyway.
Looks pretty competitive at Trial Mountain (again) in GR3, I normally struggle to get passed the top 300 in these cars so not expecting much this time around.
