Met a fellow GTP member in a Daily Race C, @A_Higher_Place! (abbreviated as AHP in this post)
After 7 laps of dry running, 8th lap was completely wet. Most of us did not pit.

Me losing grip and accidentally ramming into AHP's Atenza after La Source.

AHP gets slightly off-track at Campus, allowing me to get ahead.

AHP gaining on me and overtaking me back.

We arrive at the chicane, with AHP braking well at the dry line and set to win the race. And a black Ferrari following us. His right tires are off the racing line, and is throwing up a stream of water.

I take the off from the racing line to brake to avoid any chance of hitting him and taking away our 1-2, completely forgetting that my line is much wetter. My brakes indeed don't work at all. Same with the black Ferrari who had his right tires off the racing line.

The aftermath.

A potential 1-2 turns into 8-7.

Ha, thanks for the narrative and the retraumatization of a "so-close, so-far" situation! That was a really fun race. The Atenza just doesn't have the speed that the other cars have to benefit at Spa.

Ah yes the dp-100 and Tokyo a match made in heaven I think I have grinded over70M of my total 80M from Tokyo alone in this latest round of getting my credits back to 100M.
