Hi guys, first time posting here so apologies if I format anything wrong.

I recently got my hands on a T300 RS GT, I had a TX years ago on Xbox, so am fairly familiar with sim racing.

With all the physics and ffb updates over the years, what are the current 'optimal' ffb settings for a T300 on GT7? Let me know what you are using, as I seen a year or two ago the functionality of some settings were changed with updates.

I dob't know about "optimal" but I've been running FFB torque at 5 and sensitivity at 2 for a while now.

Sometimes I move the torque figure depending on the car (the Toyota Tundra I used in this weeks truck race was weirdly overboosted, so I lowered torque to to 3 for that one race), but I mostly just leave them alone.

Cheers man. Do you not worry about clipping or overheating with torque at 5? I've seen most people using 4 as they found 5 to cause some issues.

As for sensitivity, I've noticed that it seems to increase the torque of the ffb more than the torque value itself. Try sensitivity at 2 then sensitivity at 10 with the same torque value. I can't figure out which I prefer, they both feel strange lol

I have set FFB = 2 e Sensitivity = 8.

For what I have seen around my settings are quite "strange" but I like a lot.
The torque for me has not to be artificially strong but just enough to perceive the dynamic of the car.

Yeah fair enough, at the end of the day it is personal preference, from my understanding and tweaking both torque and sensitivity seem to just increase the overall gain of the force feedback, however in slightly different ways.

My wheel has never clipped, never overheated, and generally never had a single problem. I've used it for about 5 years now and it's been flawless. FWIW, I've never updated it or adjusted any of the native settings, only the settings in GTSport/GT7. It's been plugged into a PS4/5 and done it's job with zero complaints, and has paid for itself many times over with the enjoyment I've gotten out of it.

Just looked, and I've got about 43,800mi on it in GT7 alone, and likely many thousands in Sport as well. I'll eventually upgrade to a DD, but I've been so happy with the T300 I'm afraid to even try one out!

It is a unit of a wheel to be fair, I had a TX for many years, the first one went out in a puff of smoke after a few days but the replacement had 0 issues. The only complaint I have is the ffb fade during long races... I need to look at the Noctua fan upgrade

I ran at FFB 7 for a while but started to see the force dimming a lot, possibly also due to the warm weather

I went back to 5 but found it a bit lacking, so I’m going to see how 6 fares. Also going to upgrade the fan as most people seem to say it makes a noticeable difference
