i sticked to fuel map 4 with my Bugatti which was enough to not pit the whole race while making some mistakes, had a sub 1:59 lap at grand valley, could not replicate my sub 1:20 lap from last week at the Tokyo track.

Clear 5 of five letting my favourite for last at ....Eiger.
Took 3of 4 CRB and I'll never bother with it at Nurburg.

These weeklies have two of my favourite layouts which are both enjoyable and also CRB included are quite profitable.
Blue moon and Eiger ,so am gonna stick to them and ill try to set different GTR for blue moon and prepare an enjoyable car at Eiger which doesn't always means " faster " .
Really good group of races and am sure that everyone can find the fun and joy somewhere.

5. Lambo V12 VGT

Yesterday evening I was looking for cars to use for weeklies. I don't have much in the 800 range so I tried this Lambo around Nordschleife on RHs. Didn't feel good around corners at all. Tried to lower natural frequency and also played around with ar bars and toe angle but couldn't get rid of the understeering behavior. Any tips?

1. To start off the week, I used the Integra Type R, it's alright, but feels a bit plain to me.
2. Next, I used the 205 GTI, as it's a one make. This little car is pretty fun, and it was a bit difficult getting a good time without understeer.
3. Next, I used a detuned NSX GT3. This car is overpowered. It's insanely quick in the quick corners, but struggles coming out of tight corners, but it's so quick to get to speed that it didn't matter.
4. Finally, I used the 2024 GT-R. This car really understeers on SH tires.

I didn't bother with WTC nurburgring, as it really didn't sound fun.

Not a bad set of races this week. I enjoyed them all, maybe some more than others, but none I actually found annoying or anything.

Went with a stock Civic for the Tokyo race. Funny to drive a Civic here considering last week the Civic race was at this track too. It's growing on me, I should try some custom races on this track.

I didn't feel like buying another 205 GTi, so I used the one I have which happens to be maxed out with modifications. I used SH tires to make it somewhat interesting, but yeah, made for an easy win. That said, its a fun car to drive around Eiger, very nimble.

Went for a classic GT-R at Blue Moon Bay. Feels like the older ones are always overlooked in favour of the modern ones. I like how light they feel, makes them fun to toss around corners. Highly recommend trying them out over one of those new fangled GT-Rs with 800bhp.

Decided to get a bit ruf with this one, the CTR did make me wish I just chose an actual Porsche for this. Maybe I just need a better tune for it. I feel like even a stock Carrera GT handles better. Well, that car is just great in general, so maybe shouldn't compare. Eh.

Why not pop into the F1 GTR for this? Its fast, its fun, and it looks great too. Managed to do the whole race on RM tyres and FM6 without pitting. I was lucky there wasn't drastic weather changes. Breezy!

I wouldn't have minded if one of the tickets was a lottery, but eh happy with the credits too. Just add it to the pile.

You shall use smooth driving. I tried using this tehnique at Time Trial and I was able to have only understeer at the final section in Lap 2. I also suggest to put fuel at 6 during the race, as you may not need a pit stop. Believe me, I've tried it.

Thx, but I'm afraid it just isn't my type of car then. I just don't enjoy driving it the way it handles. But no problem, I'm sure I will find something else for this race.

Some easy. Some not so much (hard difficulty)

Tokyo Expressway - Mazda CX-30 X Smart Edition '21 - I threw on some SS tires. It put the car well past the recommend PP. Super easy win. First ticket obtained.

Eiger Nordwand - Peugeot 205 GTI '88 - The car was already on SS tires from the last time we used these cars. I don't remember if there were any other modifications, but I don't think so. Another easy win, though. Second box checked.

Grand Valley - Subaru WRX STI Isle of Man '16 - I upgraded the tires to RS, which put it just over the PP limit. Added a power limiter set to 99% to get it back in range. It was way too much for this race. Another super easy win. Second ticket obtained.

Blue Moon Bay - Nissan GT-R Premium edition T-spec '24 - Threw on some SS tires and the sports-level upgrades. That brought the PP up to just over 660. That was plenty for this race. Another easy win. Fourth box checked.

Nurburgring - Peugeot VGT (Gr.3) - Tried a 2RM-1RS strategy. It took some short shifting save enough fuel to get around the track twice. Made a couple of costly mistakes, and a few minor ones. Finished in P9. Didn't get the check mark or final ticket, but I'm not sure I'll go back and try again. I don't especially like driving this car. Now that I have, I'm happy to park it in the garage.

Challenges completed for this week (all on hard difficulty, with 1st places), a very nice selection they were too!
Race 1 - European Clubman Cup 600 - Porsche Cayman GT4 '16 (Road Car) Minimal mods, Just Aero and SS tyres and restrictor.
For me the trickiest of this weeks challenges, with the mighty Alfa Giulia in the field it was always going to be tough. Took a couple of attempts to win. Chasing the Alfa through the pack, I finally managed to squeeze by on the last lap and hold on to the line.
Race 2 - Sunday Cup Classic - Toyota Sports 800 - I don't have many cars tuned below 350PP, but the 800, stock but on SM tyres, usually does the trick. Easy win.
Race 3 - Civic Special Event Ran this first with a Race spec EK'97 on SS tyres but it was just too easy. Re-ran in a race spec EF '87 on RM tyres, which was more fun, but still too easy. Will run again on SS.
Race 4 - Porsche Cup - Carrera GT '04. My 'go to' for fast Porsche fun. Just Aero and SS tyres, and power restrictor fitted, to get below 650PP, another easy win.
Race 5 - WTC 700 - Alpine A220, RM Tyres, Racing Transmission, Custom ECU. With high fuel multiplier, I thought it best to go light, and was proved right. FM2 for the whole race, allowed me to pit once at the end of Lap 4 for 3/4 of a tank and no tyres, for an easy win.

6 Star roulette wheel rewarded me with 500,000Cr, so a good week all things considered.

Here are my reccomandations:
1. Civic 1997 or 1998
2. Peugeot 205
3. and 4. Nissan R35 or tuned R34

Yes, on frequency, don't change it. You can use the aero setup with 643 HP. This will allow you for more cornering and better fuel managment. Stick to the Hard tyres, and during the race stick to 6. Eventually if you got enough fuel, in the second part of the last lap switch to 1.

My Choices for taking on the races tonight.

Japanese FF Challenge 450: Honda Civic Type R (FK8). Basically a replay of last week's Special challenge just with more daylight.
Race of Turbo Sportcars: Mercedes AMG GT R. Out comes the GT4 build and easy street.
Nissan GT-R Cup: Nissan R35 GT-R NISMO. Abit trick in the first corners but otherwise easy.
World Touring Car 800: Lexus RC F GT3. Beyond frustrating to even try getting a clean race here, its been a while since I felt such rage.
Peugeot 205 GTI One-Make: Pleasant time with this.

Pretty easy week. I was in the lead of all the races by lap 2 on hard difficulty.

Heh, I don't think I'll have much time to do the rest, as I plan to mostly stick to Sport Mode events. Especially with the Manufacturers Cup wrapping up tomorrow and then the Nations Cup starting on next Wednesday.

Ok, well I don't blame you. Some weeks the weekly challenge events do get boring because sometimes PD will repeat some tracks and car combos. Now it would be efficient and useful for grinding the five events over and over to get large amounts of credits quick. So, that's one benefit from the weekly events. Not to forget the Special Event challenge.

Now this was indeed a pretty good set of events this week! All races done on hard mode. Here we go:

Tokyo Expressway
Daihatsu Copen
CS tyres, 445.07PP

The Copen is a fun little car for this race and just powerful enough to win. Passed the leader in the second half of the final lap, won by ~ 3 seconds and got CRB.

Eiger Nordwand
Peugeot 205 (obviously😄)
CS tyres, 456.54PP

You never know what to expect in those special events, so I went with my standard street tune. And it was an even closer race than the first one. Passed Mr. Yellow just before the final corner of the last lap. No CRB because of contact with an AI on 3rd lap.

Grand Valley
Ford F-150 Raptor (swapped)
SS tyres, 690.41PP

I really like the F-150, I own a bunch of those with different states of tuning. For this race I chose a swapped one with 1233BHP but almost full weight, 2260kg.
And it did well! To be honest, much better than I was expecting. Either this or I'm just getting used to this track😄
Did the race twice. First time the French guy in the Honda was in lead. As soon as I catched up to him he went into boost mode and I couldn't pass him on the straights for a full lap. Felt almost comical. On last lap I passed him but he was still fighting. Won by 3 seconds but no CRB.
So I did it again and this time the Mercedes was in front. I closed the gap but seems like Itchikawa couldn't find the boost button. Passed him and won by 10+ seconds and got CRB.

Blue Moon Bay Speedway
Nissan Skyline Hardtop 2000GT-R (swapped)
SS tyres, 656.88 PP

561BHP, 853KG with a chassis from 1970. Oh boy, what a monster! Wheels spinning up to 4th gear and sudden snap oversteer, trying to kill you at every occasion.
Took me a while to find a tune to make this car usable on sports tires. When I did it still wasn't easy to drive but the acceleration is absolutely insane! Won by almost 10 seconds and got CRB.

Nürburgring Endurance
Nissan GT-R GT500 '08
RH tyres, 799.36 PP

Now this was the race I was most anxious about. 800 and up isn't my preferred class and so far I just finished 3rd on this race.
I tried a few cars around Nordschleife for this. First, a fully tuned X-Bow. Love this thing, but it's just too slow.
Then the Lambo VGT. Awful car. Felt like I had to fight at every corner to get it around.
Then I found this Nissan in my Garage. Still at 0 Kilometers. No idea where I got it from, guess I won it from a ticket some time ago.
Tried it and yeah, this car feels good! So let's race!
I thought I would have to pit with this car but to my surprise it looked like I could make 3 laps at FM3. Yeah! But would the tires survive?
First lap was a bit of a disaster. Wasn't used to the car and while it was faster around corners because of the aero, that didn't really help much while going through traffic. In terms of power and speed the AI Gr.3 cars were on par. So I slowly made my way through the field, had contact on multiple occasions (so definitely no CRB here!) and even spun out once.
Second lap was a lot better, not much traffic anymore, so I could drive faster.
At the start of 3rd I was at P2, 10.5 seconds behind Fraga. Would I be able to catch up with pretty worn tires? Hell yeah, 'cause this car is really good! Passed him before Wehrseifen but immediately got nervous. Usually, when I'm in lead and have pressure, I make mistakes. But I relaxed when I saw a 7 second lead around Brünnchen. Drove on carefully and won the race by 12+ seconds🙂

Another good week of Challenges, all won, on Hard difficulty, without any real fuss.

Japanese FF Challenge 450: Honda Civic Type R (EK) '98. Stock, with power restrictor, and SM tyres, easy win. V similar to last week.
Peugeot 205 GTI One-Make: A light 'Sports' tune and SS tyres made short work of the Eiger. I do wish PD would give a suggested PP for these type of races...
Race of Turbo Sportcars: Ferrari F40, Race spec with RM tyres and power restrictor, to meet the PP limit. I didn't need much convincing to dig out one of my favourite Turbos. Grand Valley is by far my least favourite course, but in the F40 it was almost enjoyable. Almost.
Nissan GT-R Cup: Nissan R32 GT-R V-spec II '94. Another circuit I don't race often, just doesn't seem to flow. Again, no real challenge, 1st attempt win
World Touring Car 800: GT-R GT500 '08, RM tyres and power restrictor. Ah the Nordschleife (+ a bit of GP), my favourite. 800PP races can be tough in Gr.3's but a Gr.2 like the GT-R with power reduced, makes easy work of the field. The extra downforce and braking capabilities, make Gr.3 cars an easy pass. I can't help but think PD could be a bit more adventurous with the selection of opponents at 800PP. My only gripe was the AI behaving as though my car wasn't there at times, spinning me out while attempting to drive through me, on approach to Breidscheid.

A decent way to earn Cr.800,000+...

Having spent ages trying to get a car that would work well for me. I settled on the Porsche 917 Living legend. Failed a couple of times. And then on my last go, crashed on the third lap dropping me to 7th. As I carried onwards towards the finish. Having totally lost the will to live with it all. I managed to get up to 5th by the last few hundred yards, to then suddenly find 2 cars crawling (i'm assumed ran out of fuel) Literally just as I crossed the finish line. Giving me a third and an event completion. It felt like divine intervention!!!

Moral of the story. Never give up. You never know what crazy stuff might still happen. 😁

I'm right back from BMB with the same car ( mine is SS tires without the big turbo, 665 PP ) and I've still got that smile on my face. This race is unbelievable fun, isn't it ?

On a sidenote : Since yesterday I know that this Skyline appears in Fast n Furious 5, is it coincidence that yours is black like the movie car ?

Another item i have noticed maybe others have also...the nullifiers of the CRB in some of the weekly races have been relaxed. In the WTC800 at the ring I have hit from behind one on the AI cars on first lap and was still awarded the CRB, Also have driven completely off track and still awarded CRB in other races....

Have you tried the Audi RS Gr.2 cars? With slight increase of 140kg at 5 in the ballast position and RH tyres will give you a race with FM6 a no-pit run. I'm always looking for the no-pit advantage...

Good tip. No I never tried unfortunately. Thing is all I had was a couple of mil and burnt that on a couple of cars including the 917 Living Legend. I had tried the 09 Pagani that was already in my garage and a Veyron too. But either they handled well but were too slow or fast enough but had questionable handling for the Nürburgring. So the Porsche was the best out of a limited choice. I managed to get it so only one fuel stop was needed. With a large chunk of the race with mapping at 1. Increasing the mapping would only get 2.5 laps, so...

I’ve done all but the WTC800 race so far, but I will have it done after the weekend. There wasn’t really a theme to this week’s races, just cars I love to drive.

• Japanese FF: swapped EG Civic, it’s one of my favorite cars at the moment.
• 205 One-Make: stock 205 with RHs, another car I adore and Eiger fits the race perfectly.
• Turbo Sports: Escort Cosworth tuned to Group A specs, fun car and a good race.
• GT-R Cup: 400R, stock on RHs, another favorite

I will probably try my trusty CLK-LM at the Ring. I may also pull out my DBR9 and give it a workout. It’s one of my favorite races for awhile.
