I confirm @TRB1999 choice about Camaro SS16 with SS tyres , it's a winning combination with the cheapest credits.
It's sitting around 576+ pp if i remember well .

Also at 576+pp is the Viper GTS 02 with SS tyres only added.
Another blast ride and the front runner Civic even if was furious at this race didn't have a chance.

PD still hasn't programmed their AI to recognize blue flags.

No cutting the chicken, lest there be a certain Spaniard demanding to give the position back.

EDIT: Improved the time, but can still lap 1:38s if it weren't for the brake checking, blind-to-any-flag AI.

Pretty good week for some of the races.
Sunday Cup was in one of my Capuccinos. Sadly it's now over the suggested pp with the last update so oh well PD. Not a fan of this configuration but I guess because I don't run it much. Won over the Miata by 5 seconds.
Clubman Cup was in my mostly stock Challenger which was only at 647pp. Easy win by 14 seconds.
For the Kei race, the Capuccino pulled double duty in the same configuration, still on CS. Close fight on the last lap with Igor and Miyazono. Won it by just a couple of seconds.
Special race was too easy even with a stock Caterham. Won by a lot.
WTC was in the same car I've won this in, Gr.2 Lexus. It was a good race. Pitted on lap 8 for a splash and dash and came out in second behind Portilla. And here's what I hate about the AI, after I overtook him he just gave up and dropped back. Boring.

And they are fast as hell!

Then I switched to 296 and made it, but not with win... RS to RS this time.
Again boosted AI!

Wanted to win with Italian car, but failed.

PD still hasn't programmed their AI to recognize blue flags.

They move over for blue flags, but they are quick to get back onto the racing line.
The Ai never wants to leave the Precious Racing Line.

This is the result of the Ai never wanting to leave the Precious Racing line
The right most car is on slicks, the rest of the Ai dont want to pass because that means getting off the racing line.

Not to mention Blue flags in GT7 are like a Hybrid of Blue flags from F1 when you move over and WEC where you just get warned about a faster car.
The Ai doesn't want to move when approaching bends, in the middle of a bend or sequence of bends, but will move over on the straights, but if you are drying to slipstream on a long straight, they will move off the racing line then move back onto it if you move to get more slipstream.

Completed Friday morning, but didn’t have time to post. I didn’t set out with a theme this week, but then, after reading @TRB1999 and @ROCKET JOE posts I realised I too had inadvertently gone with the letter C for all my selections! 😂
So here they are…

Sunday Cup: Suzuki Carry - Race Mods CS tyres. I don’t like Willow Springs, especially this layout. Fortunately the Carry is very effective here, despite the huge drop in performance required to get it below 380PP, following the 1.71 update.
American Clubman Cup 700: Camaro Race-Mod - Stock on SS. Too easy, took the lead by end of first lap, should have left it on SM tyres
Lightweight K Cup: Suzuki Carry with 2&4 engine swap, CS tyres. Always a fun race round the hairpins, but another simple win.
Caterham One-make: Caterham 310R series spec on SS tyres (similar to Toyo R888R?) As this spec was so good for the previous Caterham Special event, it seemed like the best bet here, and so it proved to be. Very enjoyable race, battling through the field, against the more powerful R500's. I’ll be doing this race a few more times before the week is out.
World Touring Car 800: Merc CLK-LM - Stock on RM tyres. Wanted something sleek and powerful for Monza. FM1, pitted end of lap 6 for fuel. Handles great, another easy win.

For the Power pack challenges I once again selected 3 of the 5, but this time qualified prior to racing...

Caterham 310R in Hakosuka 70's at Brands Hatch. While this may be an 2008 model, versions of this car have been built since the 1950's so I had no qualms about entering it here. Qualified on pole and lead start to finish.
CLK-LM Bump drafting at Watkins Glen. Tired to do this in the Camaro with High supercharger, but the lack of downforce meant too much ground was lost to the fastest competitors, despite the top speed advantage. Qualified 4th, finished 3rd. Switched to the CLK-LM, detuned below the 750PP suggestion, Pole quali and won by 20 seconds.
Camaro Race-Mod in The Nurburgring Tourist: Having switched the CLK-LM to the Glen, the Camaro was surprisingly good round the ring in stock form, qualified 18sec faster than the rest, and won with ease.

A good weekly challenges but power pack is quite boring !

God knows how many times i try it and how many times restarted after mistakes,mine or the Vantage car that threw me out after chicane.

Always one out of 19 was escaping prison but after so many laps i managed to bust them all

Tyres was RM that i changed them at the pits , might go with same tyres but i never felt confident with warn ones .

Heading to parabolica ....

Take no prisoners mod , no chicanes cut but i was wide after Ascari couple of times , some errors here and there , got lucky with the AI in some occasions and anyway i did it .
For sure someone better than me ( they are thousands out there 😂 ) he could do it better but at my small police department i have to try very hard to make it .

Didn't go that far, I was picking from natural 700-799PP filter and did it with car I adore, Zonda R '09!

Only didn't managed to get CRB - it's almost mission impossible alongside totally stupid AI.

Hi, guys! It’s rather strange that on my first attempt I managed to win only the second and fourth races. This week I used:

#5 | World Touring Car 800 | Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Mazda LM55 VGT (Gr.1) | PP 800 | RH tyres | FM 3 | no pit
I tried to win with different cars, but I only managed it with the LM55. I find the other races in the WTC800 series quite easy, but this one is somehow special, maybe because I don’t really like the track.

It took several attempts to learn how to take turns perfectly and avoid using NOS, but in the end, it all worked out.

I didn’t think this race would be so difficult, but it turned out to be quite a challenge. The track itself is terrible; I had to enable the course hint to get through it. The only car that managed to complete it without using NOS is the Barker.

Sunday Cup: R06A-swapped Caterham. 64bhp, 480kgs, 371,37PP. Just fast enough, won by .5s. CRB✅
World Touring Car 800: Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) '22. Stock, RM tire, lowered the downforce for a little more straight line speed. 759,55PP. Took the lead in the last lap at Ascari. Good race! CRB✅
*edit: 1 stop after 6 laps for fuel, FM1 and short shifting
American Clubman Cup 700: Corvette ZR1 (C06). Some suspension, brake,... upgrades. 648bhp (stock), 1508kgs (stock), 601,11PP
Won by 13s. Easy. CRB🚩
Special Event: Stock Caterham, with RS tire. 257bhp, 516kgs, 653,54PP. To easy. Won by 40+seconds. Maybe I'll try with SH tire and a downtune to make it interesting..

Will give that a try later. Gr.C cars have varying downforce levels now in the new physics. R92CP has much higher baseline compared to the 962 and 787B.

A carnage-filled race at Monza in this season of the GT World Challenge Europe saw a Silver Cup entry take overall victory: the Tresor Attempto Audi of Rocco Mazzola, Sebastian Ogaard, and Ariel Levi. The young trio had yet to get a victory in the GTWCE up to that point.

Mazzola had been competing in the Italian GT Championship before getting his first GTWC drive in the 2024 Jeddah finale.

Ogaard was competing in junior open-wheel series before switching to GTs in 2024.

Levi was competing in Porsche Cup cars on a regular basis before moving up to full-fledged GT3 machines in 2026.

Here they were, standing on the top step of the podium in a major GT race as overall winners, taking full advantage of the chaos that ensued throughout the race.

I decided to give the car another Monza victory in the WTC800 race. Apart from racing soft tires, it was completely stock (576 horses, 2733 pounds, no downforce adjustments). For me, it was FM1, shifting where the suggested gear indicator is on the HUD, pitting on lap 5 for fuel and tires, and winning by 20 seconds. Fastest lap was a 1:43.9 on the pad.

As left field as it gets for a WTC800 race: the Subaru BRZ Drift Car.

This one has the HR-414 engine from the 2016 NSX GT500. Basically, an engine swap for a car that already had its original boxer engine swapped for a turbo LS7. Of course, I tuned it to where it no longer drifts. A time attack type build, if you will.

838 horsepower, racing mediums or softs, pit on lap 5 for new rubber and fuel, and win. I thought I could make the mediums last and only took fuel during my stop, but my rear left died of death on lap 9 so I had to quickly throw softs on. I still won by almost 20 seconds, but it’s best to both refuel AND change the tires during your stop in the middle of the race.
