The pylon mission totally killed me (don't have the nerves for this), so I decided to do only three events this week.

#1 Started on normal difficulty at Lago Maggiore with my Azenta @ 380pp, but that was too easy, had a leap of 8s at the end:

#2 So I switched to hard at Blue Moon Bay, thinking that race would be a no-brainer. I was wrong. Got 6th on first attempt in the Mono @ 600pp, however this car is notably slower than most of my other vehicles at this PP. In normal difficulty getting 1st was no issue:

#3 Unlike many others here, I really like VGT cars and races. 850pp is perfect for any version of the LM55 which easily outclasses the rest of the field - and looks awesome:

I attempted all races this with stock cars under the recommended PP.

Lago was too easy so I chose a car over 140PP below and turned off ABS

I think this is the closest win I've ever had in GT7. I won by 0.005. 😀

Blue Moon Bay I used the suggested vehicle. Only way to win that was if the Alfa got stuck in traffic. 50 attempts later I finally got past him. Felt good haha

Tokyo was also a challenge in the Aston Martin DP-100 VGT. At 150PP below the 850PP cap this is the most impressive VGT car imo.

Road Atlanta I ran out of time trying to find a stock car that could win. 😔

That pylon mission was much harder than I expected. At first I told myself there's more than 200 cones so if I miss a few I can make it up. I was wrong. There's exactly 200. It took me longer to do this than all of the rest of races this week :D

Hey guys, before the next patch of WCs goes online I wanted to post about what I did the past days. As already mentioned last Saturday I spent a lot of time at Tokyo trying different VGTs there. I think I can say I know the track a little bit better now.

Among the cars I used there were a couple of the usual suspects of course but as well candidates I had hardly ever driven before or even forgotten they exist. It's been ten cars in total, they all sat at 849 something PP, and there's been a wide spread of driving experiences : The great ones we always hope for with some pleasant surprises like the McLaren or the Genesis, but unexpected disappointments as well like the Skoda or the Chaparral that I never got to grips with.
Maybe they just didn't fit my style, who knows ...

I was doing 3 - 5 attempts with each car on average plus some early exits now and then ( for crap driving on my side ) until I was happy with the run and it's been a clean one. And now, here's the results :

That's some dedication right there! Well done.
I tried about 5 different cars first before going back to the Aston Martin DP-100 VGT. I'm beginning think pd made an error giving it a PP under 700. I feel like it should be an 850PP car.
