What I used, all of these were pretty close to the bottom of the "last used" car list.

This week's line-up:
Special TT was Silver on my first lap, done and dusted. Not gonna bother trying to get Gold.
I used a Jimney I hadn't driven yet. Slapped on some SS, a sport intake and exhaust, and even that was still too easy.
Grand Valley was in a car that hadn't run this race yet, Sierra Cosworth from my Custom Race group. Slapped on some SS to bring it down to 601pp. Easy 8 second win.
For Monza again a car that hadn't run this race, my 430 Scuderia on SS. Took the lead at the end of the third and won by 9 seconds.
WTC800 in a car I haven't driven in a couple of years, Toyota FT1. RS, pit on lap 4, won by a minute.

Great car specs and shots!

It all began with a bad decision. When upgrading my XC I went with grippier tires instead of more power ... and got burned. After changing the setup the second run brought the win. I even did a third attempt finally to navigate cleanly through the bully pack.

Guess I had that Clubman 600 event in the back of my head when choosing the car for Grand Valley. The competition this week was no match at all for the C7 ZR1, I passed D. Solis in the middle of lap 2. Well ... a really nice track at least, next race then.

Monza. With quite a similar scenario. And a great finish. The 296 made short work of most of the AI cars, however, I indeed had to chase down an F8 that got in front early on and could outrun him exiting Ascari on the final lap.

For St. Croix I went with my trusty 2J sucker simply because it's such a perfect car imo for winding tracks. And such a joy. Since the car is very thirsty even at FM 6, one stop for fuel is needed. So I ran an RH 5 / RH 3 strategy for an easy win.

I always save Time Trials or Mission Challenges for last just to be able to concentrate on it. My way. Mentioned last week that I always set my own goals so I usually spend some time and effort with these, at Laguna Seca it's been 120 kilometers.

The Special Event's indeed been this week's highlight for me, the races left me a bit uninspired. Reason may be more and more of them have been a WC event before and things felt a bit like rinse and repeat.

I’ve only done the Ferrari race so far this week. Part on my recent fun in GT7 has been building a replica and/or tuning for specific races with an AI race engineer. For the Ferrari race, I built a F430 Challenge car and spent way too many laps getting a consistent setup nailed down. The F8s started further down than usual, so I took the lead at the end of Lap 2 and just drove away. Clean Race Bonus was earned without drama. I will probably attack the rest of the Weeklies tonight and PP races as well.

May – Week 5
A quiet week without annoying tasks. Here's what I needed this week:
Gamepad | Automatic transmission | Race Difficulty – Hard | TCS 1

#5 | World Touring Car 800 | Circuit de Sainte-Croix - A
Mazda LM55 VGT (Gr.1) | PP 800 | RM tyres | FM 6>3 | no pit

The low tire wear allowed me to use non-stop tactics with FM6. Steadily going through the circles, I gradually climbed up. On the sixth lap, I overtook everyone and switched to FM3. On the last lap, Fraga started to catch up with me, but I was already far away.

#4 | Ferrari Circuit Challenge | Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Ferrari F40 '92 | PP 700 | RS tyres

Ferrari Challenge is my favorite race and F40 is my favorite car. In Monza, the decisive factor is speed on the straights, so you can only win in the corners, but this time I won quite confidently.

#3 | Time Trial | WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
Shelby G.T.350

After several attempts, I got the silver. Next, I wanted to get gold, but to my surprise, my results began to deteriorate. And I gave up trying.

#2 | American Sunday Cup 600 | Grand Valley – Highway 1 Reverse
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am ‘78 | PP 600 | SM tyres

I chose the Pontiac, but it's not really suitable for this race, it skids too easily. I was spinning in two races, and I was able to win only on the third attempt.

#1 | Jimny Cup | Eiger Nordwand
Suzuki Jimny XC ‘18 | PP 497 | RS tyres

It was a fun ride on a charged Jimny, nothing complicated. For this livery I used a decal of “B4nn3d-Irony”.

I got 500,000 Cr. for the completed weekly challenges.

Part 2 of my Ferrari Luce Detoxification Program:

This time I used Sports Softs. And of course just like the real thing, no driving assists. Oh, brake balance is at 0 since moving it rearwards will swing the car's rear, especially without ABS.

You should actually give it a try...

Top effort! Love your work.

Does this car not have ABS irl?

Struggling to find an unorthodox pick for WTC 800. I really wanted to use the FXX-K but man is she thirsty. Even on FM 6, RH and shifting at five lights instead of the full rev bar, I maybe can squeeze out three laps and that still leaves me towards the back of the pack.

The McLaren P1 GTR could do a little better with short shifting and FM 6, but I still only project about 4.5 laps. Don’t know how anyone got through on a no stop with that car but I tip my hat to them.

Ran my Sauber C9. No stops, RH, a little bit of fuel saving needed.

Power Pack. As per the usual, first two are repeats. Just wanted to try out some of my cars.
First time to race the GT500 at Autopolis. Dissapointing race. I was expecting some weather or at least more tire/fuel wear/usage. I mean, no one needed to pit. At least in the WTC's there's both. Easy win again with my Supra.

I guess only some cars swapped with race engines can do the trick of non stop .
Pushed road cars at 800pp or detune hyper cars ,i guess can't do the non stop task especially in hard mode.

Personally:
I use two cars , Honda nsx gt 16 and Toyota TSO 030 , both on lower FM ( 5 mostly ) and even if i tried multiple times, i never managed to take the damn CRB and almost in all cases i never figured out why i loose it and where 🤬
A car that can bring lap times around 3.07 much or less can do the trick easy since Audi in the race goes for two stops as I'm aware .

PS
I hate La Croissant and almost all his layouts ( some guys here knows that ) but since was only 800pp i give it a go more times in order to learn a bit more this $##$#$ track .
Still taking the CRB ,remains mission impossible for unknown reasons 🤣

For me, I always go for the most balanced run of pace and economy. Zero stops are a no for me as I believe that these races were made with the intention of pitting or else suffer the consequences.

Hence I always go for the tried-and-tested method of lift-and-coast + short shifting on Fuel Map 1, then do flying laps after the outlap. It is almost similar as running on FM3 all out.

Not sure what you call an "unorthodox" car or why it has to be a no stop race.

Initially I went with the Chaparral 2J with its insane cornering abilities. It has to be run at FM6, it still has to pit once but I finished 50 seconds ahead of the field - at hard difficulty of course.
And now here's a recommendation : Yesterday I tested one of my current go to cars for 800 PP events, the Lexus LF-LC GT VGT at 780 PP. It's one of the PD magic vehicles, sure, but it can do the race without pitting. I used RH tires and started at FM3 but switched to FM2 on the second or third lap already and finished the race that way. Maybe I should mention I always do a bit of short shifting by nature. The car isn't great top speed wise but it's glued to the track like nothing else and yes, it's easy on fuel and tires. Had a better total RT than with the 2J.

EDIT

Right now improved on my first 2J time, quicker than with the Lexus now ...

That's awesome! I did a run in a completely stock F40 with all assists off and ABS on Weak.

But now I wanna see if it can win without ABS. 🤞🤞

Thing is, the absence of ABS makes the car rotate better under trail braking, provided you know when to gradually release the brakes.

Trail braking in itself is already a difficult skill to master. Simple to look at, but takes a lifetime of practice.

Very true. Took me years lol.
