Super late on this but picks for the events. Apart from seeing Fisherman's ranch again, overall an easy bunch.

European Sunday Cup 400: Peugeot 205 GTi. EZ (Apart from Lopez and his Megane)
Pickup Truck Race: Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. I've seen way too much of this track and would really like not to for a while
World Rally Challenge Gr.B: Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally Car. Another race I really am not a fan of. Done and dusted.
World Touring Cars 800: Ferrari 296 GT3. Easily the favorite of the week.
Special Event: Again, EZ.

What I used, the "M Hybrid" was the only new car for me.

June – Week 3
A difficult but interesting week. This week I used:
Gamepad | Automatic transmission | Race Difficulty – Hard | TCS 1

#5 | World Touring Car 800 | Watkins Glen Long Course
Porsche 963 '24 | PP 800 | RM tyres | FM2 | 1 pit
I wanted to try out the cars from the latest upgrade again in this race. The first attempt with the Ferrari 499 was unsuccessful again, apparently I can't tune it correctly. In the second attempt I used a Porsche 963 with RM tyres and FM2. I needed 1 pit stop to change the tires without refueling. I got a few penalties and won by a margin of 12 seconds.

#4 | World Rally Challenge Gr.B | Tokyo Expressway – Central Clockwise
Subaru WRX Gr.B Rally Car | PP 698 | RH tyres | FM1>6 | 1 pit
Subaru is clearly stronger than the others in this race. I started the race on hard tyres with the FM1 and at the end of the fourth lap I found that the fuel was running out. I went to the pit stop to refuel and change the tyres and switched to the FM6. This allowed me to save fuel to the finish line. When it started to rain and the bots went to change the tyres, I stayed on the RH and it was the right decision.

#3 | Pickup Truck Race | Fishermans Ranch
Ford F-150 SVT Raptor ‘11 | PP 594 | D tyres
I had not participated in this race before, and only the weekly challenge made me do it. I couldn't get higher than third place for several attempts in a row, and then suddenly I won. I don't know what caused it - either I became faster or the bots became slower.

#2 | Special Race – Renault Twingo – One-Make | Brands Hatch Indy Circuit
Renault Twingo ‘93 | PP 563 | RS tyres
I didn't bother with this race, I just took a fully charged Twingo and won.

#1 | European Sunday Cup 400 | Goodwood Motor Circuit
Mercedes S Barker Tourer ‘29 | PP 499 | RS tyres
After several attempts at the PP400, I realized that I couldn't win and increased the power to 500.

Interesting set this week .
I'll never try this Tokyo again even if they had to pay me for 🤣
The dirt trucks isn't something interesting for me but at least i don't hate it .

What really caught me this week is the 800pp race .
I try a couple of new line hyper cars ( Peugeot and Bmw ) trying to do a non stop race but i find out that you have to end the race with the rims Infront.
So i guess best option using them is one stop and full throttle ahead.
But what is really a blast and joyful was the NSC concept 16 .
Bring in it down to 800pp on RH and using FM3 all the way ( AT gears 🥴) was able to run non stop but what was second to none is the pleasure of driving it.
Taking the turns 5 and 10 at full throttle is really horny .
Trust me you won't regret it

Edit
After NSX i tool the Lexus ....oh boy , who needs hyper ?
I even lapped up to 12 place AI.
Always FM3 AT gears.

IMG_20260620_200929222_HDR.webp

Thats what i use
RH tyres racing gearbox but i tweak a bit the gearing lengthening the first and put the others accordingly .

Next is time for the Nissan 500 .

The Valkryie surprised me a lot how it barely locks up its brakes. But credit goes to the new brake pedal mod I installed.

Kudos for the no ABS challenge. I've been stuck on the European Sunday Cup race for two days straight now attempting to win in a stock Peugeot 205 GTI '88 with no ABS. It's just under 400PP and I'm pulling my hair out lol.

The old cars can test your patience with them having no ABS in real life.

The F40 is still the easiest to drive without it, in this game at least.

It's been a short night after the thrilling hard fought German win against the team of Ivory Coast but here I am with my short race review. :)

Race 1 at Goodwood Motor Circuit - MB S Barker Tourer '29 - 470 PP - ✅
Couldn't find a more appropriate car to take to a Goodwood Sunday Cup race than the Barker Tourer. Thought I keep it a good bit below the 501 PP of Lopez' Megane ... which still was a bit too much so the win came quite easy. Moved over, moved on.

WC_260619_B1.webp

Race 2 at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - Renault Twingo '93 - 325 PP - ✅
I don't share the Twingo hype ( if there is one ) but it's been a fun race : Didn't expect this but it's been pedal to the metal and pushing the little bugger hard to the very end.

WC_260619_B2.webp

Race 3 at Fisherman's Ranch - Ford F 150 SVT Raptor '11 - 575 PP - ✅
Well ... I had it, I used it. And since you hardly can detune a car enough to not win any gravel race in GT7 I didn't care much. Super fun overtaking a drunken bunch of 5 cars through one of the double hairpin sections : outside - inside - outside - inside - passed !
WC_260619_E3.webp

WC_260619_B3.webp

Race 4 at Tokyo Expressway Central - Subaru Impreza Rally Car '98 - 670 PP - ✅
A hard one that took a few attempts. The car is easily fast enough but it needs insane foresight as you got to be ready with braking before turning in. Can anyone explain this horrible ( snap ) oversteer when braking into a corner ? Thankful for any advice !
WC_260619_E4.webp

WC_260619_B4.webp

Race 5 at Watkins Glen - Nissan LS7 GT-R '17 - 770 PP - ❎
The car's quite new and I really adore the LS7 BRZ engine so I tried although I didn't have high hopes to be successful. Needs FM 6, RH tires and a pit stop to do the race and I guess I was lucky that I. Fraga didn't play a role somehow.

The new BMW Hypercar is very strong at the 800PP race. Tuned power down & used RH tires and did the race without a stop with a minute 20+ to second place. The batterie power lasts only until halfway point of the race, but you only lose about a second per lap without it.

Used a Twingo for the first two races and the Lancia for the Rally Tokyo race.

The Fisherman´s ranch truck race is just :banghead: 🤬😡The AI is just utterly bad in this race. When racing, you are being shoved into the barrier and spun around, only to get hit again by back traffic. Or you make a huge jump, only to land on some rival or into the wall 🙄
Thank god you can use an overpowered truck to make up for lost time. I really hate dirt races in GT7...

This week's races were an excellent showing of why the entire clean race bonus system should really be thrown into the trash where it belongs as long as the current AI model is being used. It's already bad enough that the AI has on the rails physics, rubberbanding at will, cars outside PP limits and a plethora of other things we don't, but they can also ruin your prize money just because they want to. It's like a boxing match where you have to fight with one hand only but the other guy is allowed to punch below the belt and you lose a third of your winnings if he kicks you - which he can also do with no consequences to him.

Scrap the entire thing and replace it with heavy damage, I'd say. I mean so heavy that half of the field won't make it through the first lap with their usual antics with smoke and shrapnel everywhere, so clean driving actually gives benefits and small taps won't make a difference.

How did you get on with the i3? On normal difficulty (and pad) I found it just a fraction too slow to win with any field that has the Megane in it, and some others without it but with one or two different cars at the front instead of starting further back. I was able to win, but only on a couple of grids.

As expected : Here's another winning no stopper for the WTC 800 race. The Lexus VGT does it on RH compound and FM 1 ( for most of the race ) and I hardly can imagine a more comfortable drive. A car on rails, the Hokkaido Express ! If you try disregard the horrible AI and your efforts escaping them, you have 10 cool down laps to the line. Very relaxing, CRB included ! :D

I don't usually post Power Pack weeklies but this was a too good bingo card to miss, I'm on my two chili run through everything but the endurances. Trial Mountain wasn't all that remarkable, some position changes before the back straight and then it was just a matter of managing the gap. Lago Maggiore was just as bad as everyone who has done it knows, from pole to fifth before the first corner and then an uphill battle for the first four laps as the Supra has no grip, brakes or acceleration compared to especially Lopez in the other "similar" car. And then, Deep Forest was a walk in the park if I've ever seen one. The race was over before it even started, the only time I saw other cars was when lapping them.

It isn't easy due to the low top speed, but with a bit of corner cutting I was just able to win.

We also need consistent track limits, they are different at every corner and can rob you of the bonus as well.

  • Euro Sunday Cup: S1 PP swapped TTS, still having a hoot driving this around. Easy win.
  • Twingo One-Make: K24 swapped, not messing around with this race. Easy win and CRB done.
  • Pickup Truck: GAC swapped Raptor was more than enough. AI is all over the place.
  • World Rally Challenge: Delta Integrale Group A, high RPM turbo. Forgot to buy Inters, so had to be very cautious during the rain. 1 stop for fuel and won by several seconds.
  • WTC800: this race is honestly one of my favorite races in the game. The Z4 GT3 has been collecting dust in my garage lately, so I pulled it out and got to work. The AI are annoying and Ordonez was as much a mobile chicane as ever. One stop for fuel and Mediums on lap 6 and drove away to win.

The WTC 800 event obviously is a lot more fun when using both the Z4 GT3 or the Impreza WRX GR.3.
