Japanese FR Challenge 450: Toyota GR86. Brought the Cup Build out and goodness, its faster then I remember.
Historic Sportscar Masters: Ford GT40 MK 1. Only one way to describe it.
Lightweight K Cup: Honda N-One. Despite the S660 as being good, I just love driving this cute and goofy thing.
Gr.1 Prototype Series: Porsche 963. On one-hand, another Grid dependent race (quite annoying), but also an excuse to debut my first livery for this car.
Special Event: Far harder then the last time.
 
Decent week and again two new to me races, the U9 and the Gr.1 .
Japanese FR saw my little Toyota take on some bigger boys in the rain. Won by 2 seconds.
For the Historics I chose my VeliSide inspired 432Z. 476pp on SM. Fun because it took me until the last lap to take first and win by a second and a half.
For the Kei race I used my Super Taikyu S660. Crazy rain before the karrousel. At that point I was in second behind Fraga who was going too slow around the Karrousel. I lost it in the exit but luckily didn't spin. Fell to third but was able to take them once it started drying out. Won by a couple of seconds.
U9 race was too long for quiet cars. Easy win.
I wasn't going to play around with the Gr.1 so took the Mazda out for an easy win.

Didn't like the one-make race at all, a bunch of wangs slapping against each other for 6 laps while two of them end up 15 seconds up the road isn't fun. At least they could've made it rain to keep things interesting.
Did you do the No ABS thing with this race? I tried it out and it made the race much more interesting. Even with ABS on you gotta brake early but with it off it ups the ante.

Also, this EV is has a solid rear end. It just sticks to the road. But with ABS off it made it a lot more loose for some reason.

I did with the 499P, also ran with it on to see if I was any faster and it wasn't much, just makes it easier to not lose time from mistakes or passing. Usually I run 3 brake bias, just have to be careful in some of the slower speed stuff on turn in.
 
I will have to try again then I guess. Wong in the 908 just has insane pace. I was struggling a lot with this combo though. I will try one of the other new Hypercars next and would Hope to get into the 29s regularly. I have struggled with the exits from the slow corners ever since and my FL this time was only a 30. Had a couple crashes as well.

I used the 919, medium tyres, fuel mode 6, no stop, passed the leader on track, crossed the line with half a lap of fuel left. , provided you can make it on fuel it'll probably work in any of the cars.

Not a difficult challenge, it's like a sprint !
Tomorrow, I test it on FM6 RH for one stint to look if manage have a better gap ?!

Bought this 300ZX at the UCD as another first time drive.
Except some GT Auto mods it's stock, detuned to match the PP suggestion and I must say, I really enjoyed the car. Great on CS.

For Goodwood I dusted off my Jackson Pollock style Miura that I was able to acquire from Ben Affleck a couple years ago. ;)

Went with my go to car here for the first attempt and everything came easy as expected. FM 1 RM all the way, pit stop after 10 laps.
Lost the bonus sadly against a blind J. Wong who squeezed me wide into a wall.

Power Pack time. As per usual, one new one to me and two repeats. The repeats I'll do in the next couple of days. Today I ran the GT One race at La Sarthe. Yeah the new Porsche is overkill but I just had to. lol I'll reattempt with my DTM Audi next time.
Here she is in a new livery I made today to honor my one of my other passions that started today,cycling and Le Tour.

Hello everybody !
So I have testing this morning the race Sardegna Gr1 No Stop with the Porsche 963 and it is possible but the gap wasn't big 😕
FM6 with Lift and Cost and short shifting before the red zone, no problem for the fuel but be carefull with RH because if you are quick and charge rear wheels (especially the Right rear tyres), you destroy them on 12 laps !
A good challenge for who want learning how to manage tyres and fuel or just test it for master drivers 😁

My best lap is 1.28.878 with aspiration and a bit high RPM.
J Wong have the best on 1.28.243 with the 908 so ....

Before the Silverstone GP, I test quickly a no stop race with the beast Mazda LM55 🤔

Hey ! So, I have do this race with the Mazda LM55 : it's not the same that the Porsche, the Mazda is a rocket 🚀
You have to hardly manage fuel because if you lapping 1.28 on Fm6 , you don't finish the race !
But Hard Tyres are very good 👍
Like with the Porsche, Fm6, very short shifting and Lift and Cost for manage fuel.
The 9x8 make me laugh (video) 😆

Conclusion : Do this race like a sprint, with Porsche or Mazda, but the LM55 flying on the track !

I figured that if the AI can use VGTs that have very little to do with actual Gr1 cars, I'll play by the same rules. Needed a ton of tries to get through the first lap cleanly when even similar class cars, such as the hybrid LMPs, seem to have a nearly 100m variation in their braking points so it's just about impossible to predict where they'll brake or if the gap between two cars that was there on the straight is there anymore when entering the corner. The total time would probably be close to ten seconds faster if it wasn't for the CRB run, the AI is hopeless in many places and if you arrive there behind them, well good luck waiting for the door to open.

Here also ends my "theme pack" Power Pack run, everything except the endurances - no way I have patience for those with cars that suck that much - has now been won with two chilis. The endurances I'll do with garage cars some day.
