So I revisited Colorado Springs today after that painful run yesterday. Thought of finding ways to make the driving more controllable and getting reasonably quick and consistent laps.
I'm using a DS4 and after reading comments here about fiddling with the steering sensivity setting, I want to say I'm still using sensivity 10 ( just like before ) and it's been perfectly ok. I don't think the solution for strange car behavior can be found here.
The car I used was another Lancer VIII, however the standard no swap version. First thing I did was following
@RCKakashi14 's hint to transfer Gr.B car settings to my car. As a result the driving experience definitely got a lot closer to what it was before without really eliminating that impression that bumps and jumps are way more pronounced than before the update. So what I can imagine is we maybe have a mix of new driving physics and changes made to track parameters. Don't nail me down to this !
So, with this couple of changes that seem given now, I finally decided to just additionally adapt my driving, my lines, throttle input etc. to what the track allows and honestly, after finishing the session I was quite content with what I had. Cheers. Keep on rolling ...
Things we do to be fast !
