Ok, GTA3 was the benchmark until Vice City came out last year. The next in the series is due to be released late this year so what do you want included or taken out?

I'd like cars with textures instead of just having different colours, a blown '64 Impala (Voodoo) or '69 Chevelle (Sabre) and it would be cool if the Army had something like the Chennelwick so you could go through a crowded beach casually mowing people down while using the M60 (controlled by R3) to take care of the law :D.

To actually see the sex scenes...which won't happen here in Australia because the government won't allow R rated games. I hate them....

What about just a good ole 2 player deathmatch ;) but i-link would be nice too. Like a Free Roam you have to find the people you are playing with...heh :) Internet i don't think would work.

But they would take a long time to debug it, i think it would be too confusing, and i think it wouldn't really work...but they could have a street racing or dirtbike olr comps...

I think online multiplayer could work. They would just need to find a way to stop total chaos with people just going around and killing everyone. For example, there would be an objective, try and kill all of the police officers who are holding your crime boss in jail for drug trafficking. Something like that, so people will start cooperating with each other and not act like they're playing Quake III.

GTA 5 your think way ahead, GTA 4 hasnt even come out yet. Hopefully mutiplayer, more cars maybe even a bigger city and some more rare cars and those garage list thingys

The hunter was nice .But i think they should crank it up a notch how about a Harrier jump jet complete with side winders ,heat seeking missiles that would be sweet.

Also the the multi player option gets my vote ,preferably iLink .:)

Vice City is GTA4 ;).

Vice City is NOT GTA4 or else they would have named it GTA4. Vice City is like an expansion of GTAIII just like London: 1969 was for the original.

Yep !

GTA 5 is a long way off ... I haven't heard anything about GTA4, still pretty early though! GTA3 VC hasn't been out that long.

Three words: two player mayham. As much as I love VC and GTA3, they are only 1 Player. It would be fun to see who could survive the longest in a police chase... at the same time. Firewire battles with more than 2 people would be cool too, but whos gonna have two or more tvs set up next to one another.

I would like GTA4 to be realistic up the ass. Realistic in the sense that you can be something in a job. Example:

You can become a full fleged cop, and you have cop mission. Now I'm not talking about vigilante missions, but lets say you go into the police building and become a cop. Ok, you get real missions, which involve destroying injustices and what not

Another Example:

You can be what Tommy and Fido have been. Everything except a businessman (How could you possible program that into the game and make it exciting?).

I would also like to see even more vehicles. Even though they did improve the amount of vehicles in VC, I think more would rock,

What should be in GTA5 (er, GTA4)? Multiplayer -- as just about everyone has said already -- in all its wonderful forms: deathmatch, co-op, CTF, gangwars, cops & robbers (i.e, carjackers), seek-and-destroy, The Running Man...the possibilities are endless. This would, of course, require either a PC or a subscription to Sony OnLineWhateverItsCalled for your PS2. I even imagine it as easier to set up than most would think. A change of maps might be the most difficult thing. At any given moment, there are at least 20 characters on screen. The console has to not only render those but compute the AI for each object. Substitute those AI characters with, well, us, and the decreased computational power needed would be better spent on networking and bigger maps. ;)

Other things I'd like to see are more interactive objects: buildings you can enter, destroyable scenery (trees, benches, etc.), parked (and flying) planes, create a bank account, add-on maps (not that I have any idea, but NYC & SF would be fantastico), no more flight ceiling (from GTA:VC).... Basically, create as many real-world events as possible into this game. If R* wants to up the ante on violent sims (as I really hope they do), then they only way to go is further realism (even if it means cross-breeding with the Sims).

And multiplayer. Lots and lots of multiplayer.

{Upgradeable cars is nice, but probably not good since the GT2/GT3 crowd (that is, me) would get sucked into yet another iteration of GT). :D }

You may think i sound silly, but it would be cool playing 20 years in the future. No cars that hover or anything, just, you know, futuristic-looking ones. And more than 2 SUV's would be nice. Another thing about the future - they could add those three wheeled motorcycle/cars. :D

i read a while ago (waaaaaay before was even planed) that the next gta (after 3) was supposed to be an internet game only(like mmorpg's) and to be called Crime Online apparently R* decided to wait on that and make Vc. so maybe gta5 will be an online game

What about Freight Trucks and when you jack one you can toogle freight missions were you carry freight from city to city?

Also, those big semis you see driving round town with all the cars on the back. Add them in with the cars. That way, you could jack the truck and get a load of free vehicles.

Skateboards, skooters, push bikes and stuff of the like would make for another alternative to travelling by car.

I like the sound of pushbikes - you could do trials on park benches, stairs, railings and parked cars. That would be a riot!
