GTA Races - Worldwide Fastest Lap

Do the "Worldwide Fastest Lap" times reset everyday or something? I've racked up a good amount of them and I can not be that fast.

So what's the deal?

They're bugged. All the saved lap times on R* cloud servers were reset when the last update was released. They log that you have achieved a World record time each time, giving you a small bonus and the achievement, but it doesn't save it to their servers after the race. Every new race... laps and times are reset. Will probably be fixed with the next update.
