GTA SA in Hong Kong

Having read a few of the threads in this forum, I now HAVE to get my hands on a copy of GTA SA!

Last night I looked around about 15 of my local game shops including some of the bigger toy superstores and could not find a copy of the game anywhere. I suppose the game hasn't officially been released here and that would be a reason why Toys 'R' Us don't have it, but it seems strange that the small shops don't have it as they have absolutely every other Japanese/US game you could possibly imagine on all systems.

Anyone have any ideas? I really need to play this game!

Does the chinese govt have much control over media there (violence and stuff) or is Hong Kong semi-autonomous (-2 sp)--- maybe they deemed it too violent.... I visited there back in 1990 and am just curious

Well, considering that Japan and a few other countries didn't get Vice City 'til last year, maybe you will have to wait a while. This is because they translate it into the respective languages.

Although alot of Hong Kong speak English, thanks to the English ownership not too long ago, so maybe you will get it fairly soon.

Nope, censorship in HK isn't the same as in China. I will just buy it back in the UK when I go back in a couple of weeks time I guess.

Just go on www.Amazon.co.uk. It is quite cheap there (for UK) but I don't know what delivery will be like.
