GTA:SA Trailer...

I've seen it but I can't be bothered downloading a better quality version of it if it's the same thing.
 
I just realised the link you posted up higher was .mov, there is also a .wmv, PS I can access the site now.
 
Is this just the same as the other trailer? If it is, even if it's better quality, I don't think I'll waste my time. If it's a different one (this 100MB one), then tell me plz.
 
Looks the same as Vice City. 👍 It's a good thing!
 
I accidently downloaded the .mov version instead of the .wmv version. The damn thing won't play and I don't want to spend another day downloading the other version. I double-click on the program and the "Movie Player" pops up, but nothing happens! :mad:
 
As far as I'm aware it's the same thing and maybe he accidently put two "0"'s on end instead of one. I think it's only the 10MB one because they only have one trailer on there website.

MOV files are Quicktime movies. Download the latest version of Quicktime from apple.com and it should work.

The higher quality trailer on R*'s site actually has a couple of extra scenes over the MTV one...

At the beginning there are blurs on the two handshaking guys cos they're carrying guns...

and about halfway thru there is an extra scene with a few guns in a car... and the last scene is different too...

Funny thing is it's bigger, better and higher quality yet it is actually smaller to download!!!

PS The rest of the new R* site has about 5 or 6 other videos as part of the map sequences... There all pretty cool... especially the one of him playing basketball!!
 
Awesome. I tried to get to the stuff on the map and it just stopped loading after a while. Very annoying. I'll try later.
 
Yeah, I was considering to try and download them off GTA-SanAndreas.com but I thought "I'll do it in a few days", next time I went to the site R* had told them to take the videos down:(

I could probably rip them off the site, MAYBE.

That's the best place to check for future movies, and is lot easier than most of those links before. The game looks good, but I couldn't stand Vice City, but it appears that San Andreas will be a lot different game. And, since SoCal is the place I call home, I might buy it when it comes out.
 
Not to sound harsh but we all know about the SA website. I also can't stand that fact that you said you couldn't stand Vice City. Jeez:lol:
 
If you don't like VC, I really doubt that you'll like SA. I think that the core gameplay in SA will be very similar to VC, except SA will be bigger, have a lot more extra things to do, and have a little better graphics.
 
Yeah but SA sounds alot more like a sim than VC was. Sure it still sounds very much like a GTA but it has some core elements of a sim that the other games didn't have. R* will definatly broaden their fanbase with the game.
 
And think about it. San Andreas crew were working on SA when another crew were working on VC. So it's gonna be different. Different theme too, the homeboy thing and all. I don't think it will be overly similar.
 
Yeah, it'll have alot of similar elements but won't be the same as other GTA's. It will be its own game that can stand on its own easily. Yay, only 2 moths to go!!!!
