I’m kind of indifferent to the leaks and have so far seen all eight of them. It will certainly make the upcoming extended look interesting.

At the end of the day, it’s just another GTA game but bigger and better from what I can tell.

There has been an 8th leak.

Would not watch it at work or around your family, lol.

the last leak has a lot of pop ins but make sense since it's not a finished product.

However, it really gives us a sense of how huge the map really is. The city only looks way bigger than GTA V which is great. Can't wait for the extended look.

Also noticed some floating assets & of course, a bit of a wonky animation. Which is a bit funny to see that now considering we probably have an in-game timeline of the leaks & this last leak is believed to be the 2nd.

The new beach video has slashed my hopes for this game to have a 60 fps performance mode, far too many NPC's and detail for it to run at 60. Hope I'm wrong.
Hell I have doubts it'd run smooth 30 fps with all those NPCs on the beach. Same with the night club video.

I think 60FPS was always gonna be a long shot, esp with how much we’re seeing happening on screen in multiple leaks.

According to those who have been able dig into the videos though, they believe the game is running at a stable 30FPS.

I've been out the loop but isn't 60fps the expectation from a lot of GPUs based on the benchmark videos I seen? 30fps always gives them the (meh good enough) response

Even before knowing it was (probably) 30fps locked, knowing how awful Rockstar is, that you'll never own it, that they'll push MTXs so hard they'll prolapse their larynx out of their Rockstarfish, and knowing that you're getting nothing else for a decade, how can anyone still be interested enough in this title to even care about the watching the "leaks"?

I've not bothered with even making the barest minimum effort to view a microsecond of them. I'll only ever play this if someone sends me a review copy (which is quite unlikely at this point) and I have to - and even then it'll be engineered to make it impossible to play for long enough to scratch through the good stuff in the introductory chapters made to hoodwink reviewers and into the bulk of the game* which will be empty and tedious just like SA, 4, and 5 because bigger and shinier is more better than just being better.

*Entirely standard these days. Review periods deliberately give you not enough time to get far enough in and write about it.

Been having trouble finding some of the leaks, but seen the beach one. Very happy to see the dense population.

I'm avoiding the leaks so haven't seen them, but I'm still holding onto one fact: it has to run on Xbox Series S.
In comparison, a base PS5 has 2.5x the GPU power, and a PS5 Pro has more than 4x.
People often bring up limited CPU power, but that's barely relevant for framerate, more so for simulating physics and NPCs, and those would be possible to simulate at 30Hz and interpolated for a higher frame rate if necessary.
I do still believe there will be a 60fps performance mode, at least on Pro.

Food, Exercise and sleep will have effects on our character. This is way too immersive lol
Food and exercise was in San Andreas. I remember making my CJ really fat because one of the dating options liked chunkies

I couldn’t tell you to be honest. The only benchmark video I recall was Digital Foundry going back over one of the trailers (probably T1) & commenting that 60FPS might be possible, but they saw some signs in the trailer that had them questioning if it could be done consistently. They also noted that at the time, it was not known if what we were seeing was game footage or a cinematic, so they were going to wait & see.

T2 was said to have gameplay footage in it, but I don’t know DF looked at that one. I know they have not bothered to make any videos looking at the leaks (or probably even commenting on them) bc of T2 issuing take downs.

This is the kinda stuff I dont want in the game, same as having to refuel the cars.

Just seems like a chore to me, I want a fun game to play, not a real life simulator.
Just wana drive around and blow stuff up lol that's what GTA is to me.

Too funny. When the chaos of the first GTAs were putting fear into adults about the influence of violent games towards children. Now, the latest game is more realistic in just about preaching there are consequences for violent actions. It’s too real.

It’s crazy though. Being cunning requires more thinking and this game is going to delve more into clever thievery. Maybe staying under the radar might be a theme youth start to learn in this day. Right.
