i got just my online stats up to level 4 .the next time i loaded the game im back to level 0 ??? so just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar happen and how i can fix the problem
It happened to me once... the next day when I played, I was back up to where I was and the cash I had earned in that session had been added. Not sure of the problem or the solution... I didn't do anything to fix it... I hope your comes back too.
It's done that to me before, or take me down a level after I'd gained one. Now I always manually save when I leave the multiplayer and go back to single player mode.
I don't think your online stats are saved in your save file (I'm not positive of this) -- I've saved and not saved and still had my stats carry over-- I think the stats are saved on the MP servers-- if you go look at your online stats, you can't see them unless you are connected to the internet.

You might be right actually, I did consider that but kept saving just in case. I guess it's no different having the lap times for GT stored on servers and not everyone's individual PS3s.
Maybe the glitches just occur when you've been disconnected from the server before the data has uploaded? I know I've been disconnected after a race before, before the money has had a chance to be awarded.
i sent a message 2 rockstar abot the problem cos it was the same 4 nearly a wk and it now sorted . had no reply frm rockstar . so i do't know if they did it or it just sorted its self out .i would like 2 thank all the ppl that replyed with there suggestions.and hope it helps other ppl out with the same problems.
