Gtacars for gta 1 or 2

Hi im matt,

I rly want to make some cars on gt1 or 2 on my pc but the only designing program I can find for it costs money that I dont have. Is there any free car designing software for gta1 or gta2. Any help will be much appreciated.
 
Hi Matt, welcome to GTP. I'm going to go ahead and copy this thread into the Computers & Electronics Forum, and leave a redirect here, because I would say they would be the best people to ask about this.

Have you tried a simple Google search? You could also sign up and ask at GTAForums or GTAGaming, especially the latter. All I know is that texturizing the cars in GTA 1 and 2 is quite easy, but I've never looked at the modelling and how to add them into the game.

I didnt find gtacars for free on a google search. Does anyone else know if theres any way of getting gta cars for gta1 or 2 for free.

When you say getting the cars, do you mean actually extracting the car from the CDROM or :confused:?
 
no, theres a program called gtacars that lets you design your own cars and then use them in the game. i found it for gta1 but it costs money and i was wondering if theres anywhere that you can get gtacars for gta2 or gta1 for free.

I did see somewhere on the web, instructions fro making a new car on software like paint, and how to place them into your game. I'll send you the address when i find it :) . By the way, are you playing on pc or a console?
