Well i was thinking more for the next race as im not sure if im going to be about tonight for qualy, but i shall see. Thanks anyway though:tup:
If you feel like you wont do well, qualify anyways. You just might make it into the race, even if you start last, you still have a shot at winning or even getting close to winning.

Did some practise late today and managed a 1:40.528 but that was with the racing line on. Switched it off and ive been chasing that ghost car for the last 30mins and only been able to get to just within a second of it :irked:

The ISF is SO understeery. Trying to get that back end to kick round on some of the corners is a nightmare. Worst corner for me has to be that downhill right/left in the trees.

Will keep tweaking and trying though!
It's better if you practice in an online lobby like your own lounge because the physics are different offline from online, less grip online. I love every turn on this track except the first one. There is always too much oversteer for me leaving the turn so I really need to be gentle on the throttle.

With tire wear on, simulating qualifying, i was about 1 sec slower then my best time. I think anyone who could pull a 1:41 in qualy could be pole. This track is very easy to make small mistakes that cost you a bit of time.

I set this room up for practice. I'm gonna do a few laps then head out to an early lunch. I set it to have 8 lap auto races every 16 minutes.

I might come after my STi vs EVO race if it's still up.

Theres less grip online! GREAT! Things just got way tougher :)

Just had a realisation, i live in the wrong time zone. If your qualify and race times are Eastern Sea Board times then a 8pm race start is going to be about 2am for me.
I cant hold a controller when im a sleep!
Cant believe ive been such a fool. Whoops:dopey:

I had to make a change to the max PP rating indicated on the first post in the thread for the IS-F. Since tires aren't considered in the formula now the PP rating should've been reduced significantly for all our cars.

Mine sits at 601 with a fully broken-in engine @ 514BHP with full downforce.

Can you guys confirm this is the same case with your cars for me?
Thanks.

Ya I'm satisfied with my time also considering I only practiced on the day of the qualifying date. Amazed at how close the top 4 times are, especially 2nd and 3rd.

Wardez, got a 1:40.9 with your setup (minus the gearing)
I think i'll be using it for the race today, going to do some tests to see how it holds up for my expected pit strategy
btw, running tests in my lounge

Nice run Neth.

I'm gonna be starting up the room in a few minutes. I would appreciate it if everyone participating would show up as early as they can. Hopefully at least 15 minutes before start time so we can start right on the hour.

Anyone that didn't qualify and wants to start from the back just let me know in the thread. 👍

Official race 2 room is up:

1472 6118 3744 3752 0153

Race is on a ten minute hold for drivers arriving late to the show. I absolutely can not hold the race further than that or else I'll be late for work xD

So there you go guys, hurry up and get in the room!

I restarted my modem cause i had 4 ghost cars, wasnt getting d/c before the restart.
Then after the restart i was getting d/c :(
Good luck guys.

Wardez, if you find that someone was too aggressive and dirty, can you dq them?

Because it seemed like BlackIce was hitting me every chance he got. Tried to pass him at least twice, and he hit me before I finally did get around him.

Then late in the race, he slammed me on that downhill left-hander before the hairpin in order to get by me. Took away a top-5 :/

Other than that, though, it was a good race.

It was a bummer to see your car disappear when it just seemed your problems were gone.

I'll make sure to work out everyone's connection to my room before the race starts so we don't have to go through the mess of restarting the room and all that.

But thank you to everyone who showed up.

Also, if you want to complain about anything that happened on track. Take it to a PM. PM also for any concerns, this thread isn't to work out beefs with eachother.

Thanks and get ready for Grand Valley Speedway! should be epic.

Off to work!
