GTF -> GTP member migration

I was on RacingLine forums for a few weeks, and I found GTP and GTF the same day. This one looked better. Haven't been to GTf more than a few times and can't even remember where RacingLine is.

I was originally a GTF Member. That forum was brutal. My filter (if any of you remember my old filter) got a hold of it, and found some old threads that they classified as "bad." So, instead of continuously monitoring the forum, they blocked it. I was stranded, I went around to the other Gran Turismo VBulliten forums, and stayed for about half a year. That's when someone from the OLRs in one of them made reference to the GTP. I came here, to see what it was like, and was drawn in by the friendly attitude, and "longest thread on the net" as it's been called (for those of you who are newer than that and have no clue what I'm talking about, ask a moderator about HMRCWG). That was about a year ago. My account on the GTF has all but died out, and I only had around 400 posts or so in it (not much, I could barely have a custom avatar). compare that number with the number I have here, and it's apparent that I come here alot more often than I ever went there. I'm just curious (as I'm too lazy to go there myself), do they have Photoshopping over there? And how many members do they have?

Originally i was at the GTF.. But all yee who remember, it went down a little over a year ago, and came here permantently. I visit the GTF sometimes, but its so rare, it cant even be classified as rare.

I was never a member of gtf, but i do think they had a "choose the best picture" webpage of sorts, i participted in that for a few weeks. the style was different from those am i blank pages, i think. at least, i don't think i was a member. my guess is no. memory is bad.

I visit both GTP and the GTF, and honestly, you need to do so, if you want to keep up with the GT series. Most of the press releases are posted first over there (gee, i wonder why. Must be the name)

If you want to talk about cars/racing/whatever is related to it, get on the GTF. If you want to chat randomly, or get some info about GT/GT2/GT3 (can't be bothered to go to the GTfuture section, it's full of crap, and in dire need of a major cleanup.) this is the place to be.


I can't live without visiting both places daily.

I've been registered at the GTF since November 08 2000.
I've been registered here since about June 14? 2001. (member #18)

I post at the GTF more than i do here because they are more mature and strict over there.

I post here because i still like this place and there are more topics to reply to some of the time than the GTF.

Thats how i found GTP. I never actually of GTF until coming here and i still havent been there.

i think this place has different kinds of people mature and not, but what makes this place better is the way it looks, the professionalism and the different types of people.

Hey!!! that's exactley how i joined too, even though now i hardly ever visit the gran turismo 3 forum, but yeah i've never been to GTF
