Hi folks!

This is a temporary draft for the next Championship I'm organizing.

For the moment, I'll check for interest, giving you some infos about the champ.

GTLR Championships approdes to GTPlanet after a first period of indipendent organization, in which the successful FIA GTMasters took place (you can see some of it here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-gt-masters-broadcasts-and-highlights.323560/)

When the previous competition featured all types of Touring and Grand Touring classes (GT3, GTS, TCR, V8s, Cup cars), this one is focused on the maximum espression of endurance competition.

Cars/Classes
The series will feature 4 permanent classes:

LMP1: Le Mans Prototypes mainly from the P1 category, Pro class, closed-cockpit.

LMP2: Le Mans Prototypes from both the P2 and P900 classes, merged to form a low power Pro/Am class, open-cockpit

LMGT1: LM Race Cars from the late '90s FIA GT1 era, with the highest power on the field, Pro class

LMGT2: LM Race Cars resembling the modern GT2/GTE cars, high power and high weight, Pro/Am class

8 cars will be racing for each class, taking the car number up to 32 for each race.

2 races will be held for each event, so we will run 2 categories per race.
The European race format will feature P1+P2 and GT1+GT2, the American format will feature P1+GT2 (ALMS) and GT1+P2 (USCC)

In addition to those, if highly requested, a third race will be held for 3 Pro/Am/Rooks Open categories:

LMP-V (6 cars)
LMP-56 (4 cars)
LMGT-V (6 cars)

(No descrtption available for these classes, they're still WiP)

Tracks/Calendar

There will be a not so tight calendar (1 race per month), and the total amount of events will be around 8/9
The races are divided in Normal races (60 minutes) and Endurance races (1.2h, 100m and 2.4h)
The calendar will feature:
Daytona 2.4h
Le Mans 2.4h
Petit Le Mans mockup (100min)
Sebring mockup 1.2h
Some of the WEC events (normal)
Some of the USCC events (normal)

Okay.

Will Historic LM Race Cars be included like the Group C and the 1960's Prototypes? This is a suggestion. :sly:
Until now I didn't plan such a thing, but if the champ turns out being successful, we can do an Historic Le Mans race into the Le Mans event featuring the cars you mentioned :)👍
