Or, you could buy any other kit car (Noble, for instace) and achieve the same thing in a car that doesn't look like whats left of a Ford GT40 after an accident.

At least have that site get the name right.

It's a Factory Five Racing GTM Mulsanne '04. Yes, a kit car.

And I highly doubt it's 350Bhp V8 engine can take on Ferraris. Now I have heard that the power has been bumped over the years and that the few that are out there have beyond 500Hp.

But point remains. It's a kit car from Factory Five that originally comes with 350Bhp stock.

The sad thing Toronado, is that I believe these were built before the Ford GTs.

It's a 405bhp engine stock these days, it was first built before the Ford GT, but the fron it clearly GT40 inspired. But overall I quite like it. One thing to take into account is the this car produces more downforce than most Ferrari's and Porsches ect, it's a much lightler car than most Ferrari's and Porsches as well. I don't see any reason why this couldn't take on and beat a Ferrari F430 on a track. I don't see it being a better car than a Ferrari F430, but I do think this would be faster on a track.

Ahh... Yes, the Factory Five Super Car.

I'm only a 1/2 hour drive from their plant, and have yet to make it down there. :(

For more info, visit FactoryFive.com.

*Mclaren* I'm not sure where you got that name from, but the website still calls it the GTM Super Car. http://factoryfive.com/table/ffrkits/ffrkits.html

Under $20k US. I'm betting another $30k invested and you'd have a Ferrari Killer. Plus a bit more exclusivity.

Has it? Hmm, I did not know that. Last I heard it was FFR GTM Mulsanne. I guess they have changed the name.

Ah, I see the body has undergone more performance-wise aerodynamics. I really haven't looked at this car since it came out in 2004, but I guess that's why I'm surprised at the changes.
