Very good. 👍 I like the first pic because of the smoke.

Look out for pixelation in the sky; after adjusting the contrast and whatnot, just gaussian blur it. Also, save the pic in the best quality in your PS program, that prevents pixelation around your cool siggie.

P.S. The chick in your avy ain't bad either. :)

Great pic's dood! Im loving the first one with all that smoke....

Stop by my gallery if you got some spare time thank's dood.. Great update looking forward to next one.

Sejtur: Thanks for the comments and for the tips. I'll use the gaussian blur and save it in the best quality next time! :)
And your 'tar is not bad either. ;)

Turbo (@) (I just noticed the (@) was a turbo :dunce:: Thanks! I'll check your gallery and the next update will probably be up tommorow since I have a 4 day weekend.

tougemonster: Thanks.

After some work and PS freezing while I was saving, here is my attemp at a blurred shot.
I will upload the full update later ( I did 34 shots, but I will only pick the best ones ), but for now here is a teaser!

So what do you think of the work I did? Any tips, since it's my first try, would be greatly appreciated! :)
And here is the original one for comparison

I don't know if I do it the "right" way, but you cut the car in Photoshop
-put it in a new layer
-Zoom Blur the background without blurring the layer where the car is.
-Put the car back in the pic.
-Smudge the imperfections around the car.
-put a nice border, sig and post it in your gallery. ;)

It took me some times to achieve this but if you're good at PS it should be OK.

Oh, and thanks for your visit!

EDIT: Yay! 100th post in my gallery.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that some time! :dopey:

ps. When's your update coming?

That shot of the ruf is damn nice! 👍 The position of the blur is very well chosen. It looks as if you're driving into a tunnel of trees. Maybe it's a little too blurred. (but maybe you were going 150 mph + at that point) Also the colours are very well balanced.

Looking forward to your update and thanks for checking out my gallery.

PS: I just love your avatar!

Looks good, masta.
The only thing is that the focal point of the blur could be moved a tiny bit to the right.

Looks great, though.

Thanks Vonie, but I don't know how to move the focal point :(.

I just choose the Zoom blur filter and it automatically makes the center of the shot the focal point. I don't know if I can move it, but I'm going to check that. (I'm using Macromedia Fireworks)

Here we go, the Full Update!

I know they're blurry(maybe a bit too much(I think next time I'll let some aperture)), that's the effect I was looking for (Hence the title name "Fast and Furious"). Leave a comment or constructive criticism :)

nice ruf picture man. looking forward to the full update. 👍

EDIT: you posted the update as i posted that comment

nice update man, i like the first big one and the banner. 👍

Thanks, but they don't really satisfy me... They're not clean, I used too low aperture+low shutter speed and even used some gaussian blur... :(

Well the good side of these pictures is that I won't make the same mistake again :)

thats why my favorites are the banner and the first big one. they arn't too blurry like the other ones.

That phototravel shot looks really good.
I like that panoramic one, too.

In PS, you just move the line preview thing to where you want it.
Dunno about MF, though.

MF doesn't have this, I'll need to check tutorials to see if there are some ways of moving the focal point.

Thanks for the visit Vonie! :)

Hey! nice update man! I like all the big pictures the best. Nice angles you got there! Great work mate, keep 'me comin! :dopey:
