Results are taken the first time you cross the line after the LMP leader, the way it's done in real life.

Question: how race will end in GT class? When prototypes finish and timer goes 0:00.00? GT's has no idea before race how many laps they'll do in race? How you decide your race strategy in this situation? (maybe i change to prototypes :) )

Yes change to prototypes so I have a better chance at GT championship :)
 
@Lancer: Is't too much to ask that you could put info in OP and tell what are prototypes laptimes (approximately) in tracks? That should help me to count how many laps GT might get in race and i could set my own race strategy for the race.

@redbullrider20: i'm not very comfortable to drive propotypes (yet). They're too fast and i need more practice with them but maybe some day i'll give them chance...

Lancer do I have permission to upload clips of the races to YouTube and use the GTMSA and GTPLMS logos for promotional purposes in the videos?

Edit: in promotion of the series itself not any other organization

I was curious about this also so I set up my 908 to the series specs and ran some laps to find out. The absolute best I could do was a hair over 1:27. I was doing terrible with the car though and for me to run a clean lap with it I was overly cautious, so you could knock some time off that for planning purposes.
 
Estimated LMP pace for the remaining races has been added to the schedule. Cheers to Jammy for the idea. :cheers:

I could see results now - no permission or any other problem.
 
This was my plan also but i knew it that my lap times are no good so its better if driver who runs the car tell us what laptimes are so we get more accurate times.

In the second-to-last corner do we have up to the outside wall or do we need to keep it within the white line on the outside?
 
I would say keep it inside the line, otherwise you would be off the track. But what do I know.
 
You can use all the track up to the wall going on to the oval. I've never seen anyone not allow it.
 
Room will be up in around 20 minutes. Anyone new should add GTP_LancerEvo7.
 
Good race everyone I was limping the last couple of laps. Tires were pretty much gone.
 
Yea, good race. Not a bad first outing for me.

It would take time but I think that the racing would be better if the cars had individual specs for each track. I tested the crud out of my Corvette and it was still 2-4 seconds off. It might be my driving though :) lol
 
I like to know what are setting (room, event and regulation) for Suzuka weather?
I like to test what you have plan for us :)

I'll have an other race just before this one on sunday, but i'll try to join you. Hopefully we get more people then and maybe even two class. Lancer i feel sorry for you that no LMP race for you yet.

My race yesterday was pretty steady. When Lancer and Ace made mistake i was alone in lead and try to save my tires as much as i could to keep safe distance.

Weather will be set to 25% with changeability of 2 at the beginning of practice. The weather will be set again for qualifying based on the weather at the end of practice to avoid looping.

Remember that traction control is allowed for both classes, should you decide to use it. I highly recommend using the in-race RA function if possible to adjust your aids as necessary.
 
@Suzuka: What time is set? Time progress? Any night driving? Surface water?
