What day of the week for this series to race on

Yea I will wait until we get a few more signups then I will close the poll. From the poll results so far, Saturday will be the best day. IF we start on Saturday, qualifying will start at 4 p.m. I will have the open lobby open about half an hour early for some final practice. I will have a room reset at 4 p.m. eastern. From there, a 10 minute qualifying session will take place. I will call time, but you can finish your lap. T&S should be working after the room reset, so that will be the order. Everyone will get in their pit stall for race start. There will be no pace lap. When the game's countdown ends, the race begins unless I call the start off because the order is wrong. If the order is wrong, we will do a manual grid in the race. I will call a time on the race timer for everyone to start at then.

Meh, I'd like a formation lap. Itcc style race 3. So we start from our grid spots... F1 style.

I think the other way is simpler, but we might have to if the grid is messed up. I do appreciate the feedback. :)

Anyone else who wants to chime in on the starting procedure can.

Anyways, I guess I'd perhaps be able to pull off Saturdays, but, my boss might make me work Saturdays.


As a janitor (Work's hard to find :sly: ) at a very large factory, (I get to drive big machines that wash floors (yes, they have an endless amount of machines to do stuff)) I work every other day. (Tuesday, Thursday, and a day on the weekend.)


My hours aren't clear yet, but, are close enough... I'll probably take Sundays, though, as the weekend day.

They have one at school, and a MASSIVE one at my dad's company's factory in Ohio (YouTube the Kenworth factory in chilicahi Ohio.. That's not how you spell it, but you get the idea)

It's a crazy big factory, my dad gives tours of it to customers every once in a while.

According to my father, yes. And, he's worked there for like 15 years. :dunce: Janitorial work, surprisingly, might be the coolest way to get college tuition. Oh, and $14.00 per hour.

Back on topic, do you guys like the schedule? Is there a track that any of you want added?
 
Been peeping in might be interested if this doesn't clash with Toca which is a Saturday.

On that I just decided to do a test on GP/D to see each cars relative speeds. I tested each on a base setup then slightly tuned based on what I felt was needed.

The times were:

Honda Civic RM 1:40.714
Mazda Mx5 TC 1:40.802
VW Golf RM 1:41.976

I had a feeling the Golf would be slow due to past experience with Lancers Golf RM cup. The Civic and Mx5 are close but I rekon over a distance the Mx5 will be faster due to it's better rwd wear. So I would say the Golf needs a power boost 👍.

Thanks for the feedback Paul. 👍 I thought the same thing when I was testing, so I will give the golf racing exhaust and bump the horsepower up a little bit. I'm making the change to the OP right now :)
 
All RMs have racing exhuast standard :sly: (Payback for Rolex last night :p) but there is pleanty other stuff to help it... Also can't help but notice the bhp and PP values are un run in figures, aka oil change and 0 miles... With run in they will undoubtably gain a PP or 2 with the extra torques.

I should know that :dunce: :grumpy: Racing ECU should do the trick then.
 
So will you update the OP when you have run in the cars (186 ms/300 kms) and PL'ed them to their respective limits. (207bhp Mazda, Golf and 215bhp Civic)

We COULD make this, ITCC (other), and possible Total Showcase could possibly share times at alternating seasons?

It really wouldn't bother me. This series is really taking off. The signups have been up for barely 2 days, and we have 5 people already 👍

@Polar: I don't mind alternating. It certainly gives plenty of time between series for planning.
