Cool!! Can the DC5 a special consession for the Indy race?
That long long long straight is going to kill us!!

No because then you would kill us in the infield. Also the race is going to be 8 laps.

I nominate the Indy Road Course to host the Enduro for Season 2! ;)

You want the most well balanced track to host the enduro.

Hey guys, I will be going to the auto show this Sunday and will be home on Saturday night. If you have a spot for me, I'd love to race and just need to know what time you will be running.

It will be normal time. I hope to at least see you for our season ender Endurance race.

I know this is way to early but this is Season 2's schedule.
Round 1: Deep Forest
Round 2:Cape Ring South
Round 3:Monaco
Round 4:Autumn Ring
Round 5:Laguna Seca
Round 6:Suzuka or Suzuka East
Round 7:Trial Mountain
Round 8:Monza (No Chicane)
Round 9:100 Miles of Tsukuba*

*Subject to Change

Looks good to me!!

Is the season ending endurance on Cape Ring like the front page says or on one of its other layouts?

What about the cars for season 2? Any new additions?

That will be released when the start of Season 2 rolls around. Which will be Mid-April.

Cool! You know I'm in for that!!

There will be an option of 5 cars for next season now. Just dialing in the 5th car and everything is set. Sadly though it is a Standard and i will have to trade it to people who sign up for it. But it will be Race spec so it is all good.

I have an idea as to what it might be, but I'll wait until the car list is released so it can be confirmed if my hunch was properly played. ;)

Hoping to see a good turnout before our season finale.

You can count me in! Hopefully the DC5's won't get beat up to bad!

I'm outta town this weekend so no Indy for me :(

Also are the Performance Points available for online races? If so matching the cars should be super easy now! I read you can tweak your weight and power in tiny amounts plus individual gears can be edited.

what are u guys doin for fast laps on Indy?

Next season I will have weight penalties. It still isn't easy since you have to take into account how the car handles.

Supr are you going to use the PP system now, or just stick with the official rules?

Im going to just finish out the season with the current rules. There is only 2 rounds left so there is no real point. Also next season we might have 1 or 2 rounds of user made tracks to race on since we can use them in our lobby now. Hopefully no one makes a nurburgring type track. Although I may give the guys in the back a boost.

I just made a track that will be used for next season. Its got a multi apex turn one into a complex of sweeping left and right handers like at silverstone. Which leads up the hill to a fast downhill straight into a very fast and tricky double apex corner. It is currently up on my course list right now so you guys can try it out. I hope it will bring some close racing. The average lap time in an ITCC car is 1.22.

This adds so much more to the online experience. Its almost overwhelming to think about how many more tracks i'll have to remember as i'm sure most series will include some custom ones.

I love you man... I was just going to suggest this. Like real touring cars - you win = cars weight increased slighty, this way nobody can run away with the championship. This also fixes the stupid oil change thing, since you can slighty detune to keep the same HP. I'm really excited about these changes!!! :)

For the record what is everyones current PP?

My VW at 309hp (oil change) = 551

My Integra is showing 519 for PP with 245hp

I'm going to open up a free run lounge if anyone would like to join. I'll probably be testing the 5th car for next season.

Its finally Official, our final 2 constructors enter there cars for Season 2 of the ITCC. Seat will be running their Ibiza Coupe and Mitsubishi will be running the Eclipse GT '06. The cars are undergoing testing to equal that of the current spec cars. It is possible we might see the integration of a second class with the new 3 cars being entered next season. The Independent class will consist of the non-RM cars. It is possible that we might see mixed class races next season. But only time will tell. The 2 new cars introduced today will be distributed to those who sign up next season for the car.

Also there is one User made track that will be selected for next season. So post up the layout of your track and i will pick a winner by the end of Season 1.

Last night online at Indy Road Course, I did a 1'41.7 with a setup I found in the Tuning section. Dunno how the other Golf drivers are faring so far...

And what are the guidelines you're looking for in a User-made track, Sylph? :)

Something that looks like an actual track. Not a nurburgring track that is 5 miles long and has squiggly turns in every sector. Something that has something that has a variety of tight and fast corners but isn't too long. Try to keep the lap times below 2 minutes.
