Im going to be opening my lounge at 8:40pm EST so that gives us enough time to have members join and start qualifying.

Damn we are only gonna have like 4 people racing

No there is atleast 10 people that i know of that will be racing.

A little over 5 here. ;)

Almost missed the race! Ithought it was gonna be run at 10 PM

Wait... Now it's 9pm? As in I'm 5 mins late? :(

Well I told ya I was slowest driver! Even starting from pole got me last place :( I heard the car's handling online was "different" but YIKES, the darn thing slides all over the place, especially if you put a wheel off onto the grass. I crashed TWICE after just barely touching the edge of the track... what's up with that? Combined with the tire wear I found the car very hard to drive where as during (off line) practice it stuck like glue to the road.

For the record my Golf had 305HP, just wondering where everyone else's power level was at the end.

After Round one Jav takes 1st in the standings finishing on the podium in both races followed by Sach, Supr, and rxp. Great race overall guys. I'm very sorry for the short notice but it was still a fantastic race. Great turnout to. Although there were some connection problems everyone did very good. Some people even finished in the same spot in both races. Hope to see the same great racing at the Nurburgring next week.

After going over the replay scrolling threw people's cars i noticed Jav was using racing hards. That's going to be a -5 point penalty. Rules say racing mediums only.

That may be the problem, JMII.

Edited first picture. The start of race one down to turn one, great shot I must say :sly:

Thougth it would be ok since I was using mediums on the front... Got no problem with that, just an interpretation mistake on my part...

If anyone would like to create a new banner for the first picture please do send me them. Maybe try and keep it similar to the picture though. All the cars bunched up at the start.

Here are some pictures from race #2 I uploaded to my Photobucket account. First four pictures are of the start and the leaders on the first lap and the rest are of the Top 3 on the last lap

Nice shots. You should've took a pick of NINO's finish and I. Four hundredths of a second is what NINO beat me by. In that last picture.

Damn, can't believe I missed the race.

Thought it would be at 9PM PST (I mean now).. I guess I should have misread.. I hope you guys had fun.

All times are in Eastern Standard Time.

I just realized that no one make of car dominated the race. They were all spread out mainly.

Can't say it enough, it was some awsome racing! Thank's for a job well done Silver!!

Very true had I not been bumped in the first turn of the the first race and not made a couple mistakes in the 2nd I would've been further up front. Everyone's cars seem equal. I like this series a ton. I had a blast tonight.

Tim

I had a blast! I find it hard to not be pissed about getting taken out of first and slammed into the wall in the first race, but judging by the rest of my race i would've fell back anyway, lol. I noticed we're not all up on the list of points, why is that?

Oh and thanks again to Silver-Sylph for hosting and organizing everything!!!

Definitely had a lot of fun tonight and can't wait for the next round. :D

x2!! Definitely looking forward to it! Can't wait to see who will come out on top on The Nurburgring!!

Well, how can we say the race is going to be held on saturday night then all of a sudden it is being held on friday night???

I could have sworn when I pitted it said "racing medium". I assume if you don't change anything it fits the same tires.

When racing my brother online in equal cars I lose 1-3 seconds a lap, so I'm not surprised at my results. The big difference was the track edge grip, when one tire is on the pavement and the other is on the grass the car hooked violently making me crash twice. I think I would have finished 8th on race 2 if it wasn't for the crash, I was in 6th when I exited the pits, then immediately spun out on the exit of turn 1.

I think the rules are great: good power level on the cars, nice mix of equal cars, the pitstops mixes things up and the reverse grid gave me hope in race 2. Just need to lock down the race day/time so people don't miss out... I just got to the grid just in time.

You gota set the grip reduction to real when you practice on Aspec to replicate the race conditions
