Introduction
Welcome to the Lotus Elise Cup, a series designed to test even the toughest drivers. Despite the car having low power, street spec Comfort tires and a lack of electronic aids, including ABS, will punish even the smallest of mistakes. With no adjustments to the car apart from brake balance allowed, this series guarantees a level playing field for all.

In order to encourage driver turnout, three separate championships will be held in the first season. The Japanese Championship will be first; with short, tight tracks, it will help drivers get used to braking without ABS. The second championship will be in Europe. This championship will have a combination of winding circuits and tight city courses. The last championship will be held in the United States, where drivers will challenge themselves to high-speed braking in the infields of the world's most famous ovals. Drivers may partake in any or all of the three championships.

The top 4 finishers in points in each championship will be invited to a grand finale, to be held at the formidable Nurburgring, where we will test both the skill and sanity of 12 drivers to find the overall champion. Could that champion be you?

We can always wait a few minutes for you if we have to. 👍

As long as it's past 6pm EST, Im in.
Give me a yellow Elise, car #51

Been racing w/o abs since the start so this seems interesting to me, but Im not sure if people will readily accept it.

I'm still interested in running this if people would like to join.

I might like to try. I'm new to GTP. When would the first race be? How long would the series last?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Scott

We'll start as soon as we have enough people, each series would take three weeks, and the whole season of racing would last about two months.

So that means it is 11:30pm GMT? If so I can make it, like I said in the interest check.

Find it spooky that the yellow/black Lotus in the op is #17.

(Newshams, from Inverness like me, BTCC Vectra. Just a funny coincidence really)

I can sign up as a part-timer only because my schedule is so erratic. Sounds like fun though...Silver/Chrome #25 sounds good..

I don't see any tires mentioned and I see "Chassis Reinforcement" with an asterisk beside it...what does that mean?

Chassis Reinforcement is optional, and we're running Comfort Soft tires.

Ok thanks...good choice..just noticed it under the car specs..:ouch:. But you can't use chassis reinforcement if you want to set the room to "tuning prohibited"..won't let you in.👍

Ooh crap, thought you could. I'll just update the picture then. Thanks a load. 👍

EDIT: Fixed it. Should be good to go.
