Introduction
Welcome to the NASA Spec FR-S series! This series was done originally by R1600Turbo as a single day championship, and is now expanding to a full multi-week championship. As with the original, this series will not allow the use of ABS.

Series Information​
  • Qualifying Format: TBD, will depend on number of competitors
  • Race Format: Single Race
  • Race Distance: 80km

Racing Regulations​
  • GTP's OLR applies.
  • In the event that the below rules conflict with the OLR, assume the rules below to be correct.
  • Cars must be run to the exact specifications stated below.
  • You must set your car to share, so that the stewards can check your car for the correct parts. You should buy a new car, not downgrade one you already have.
  • You may change lanes twice to defend your position, only if it is safe to do so.

Incidents​
  • To report an incident, send a PM on GTPlanet to myself, LancerEvo7, or another GTMSA official, stating the race, lap, turn, and drivers involved.
  • Do NOT use the in-game chat function to talk about incidents.
  • GTMSA officials will review the incident and apply penalties if necessary.
  • If you are deemed to be at fault for an incident, the following penalties will be applied depending on the severity of the incident:
    1. First Offense: Warning
    2. Second Offense: 30 Second Penalty added to finish
    3. Third Offense: Disqualification from one race
    4. Fourth Offense: Suspension for remainder of season
  • Stewards may also impose other penalties based on their discretion.

Qualifying will be held at 2:00 PM GMT -4, with the race immediately after. The race weekend will take about an hour total.

Yeah me to sadly, clashes with PURE GATE :(.
 
I should be able to make most if not all of the races, but I can't say for sure until I know which Saturdays are scheduled. I'll hold off on officially signing up until then (plus I don't know what colors yet lol)
 
I'm fine with moving the timeslot if need be, especially if it means more of you can compete. What time do the GATE races end?
 
Not sure, it says they start at 20:00 GMT, and they're running 40+ laps on courses like Laguna, Monaco, Fuji and Suzuka.
 
Gate is 8pm-10pm BST. (Or 7-9 GMT) Your race starts at 9pm BST which is when Gate starts.
 
How would Sunday at 1 PM GMT-4 work for everyone? That's really the only other time that works for Europeans that I can do.
 
Sunday works better for me at the moment as well.

We'll almost certainly be going with Sunday then. The Schedule will be finalized soon.
 
Dates and race distances have been added to the first post. Also note the following:

- Unless we get a large number of people, qualifying will consist of pre-race hotlaps, most likely in a 15 minute session.
- You will need to send a friend request to GTMSA_SpecFRS to access the race lounge. I will post once the account is created.

I'm not going to make the special PSN, there aren't too many of us and you're all on my friend's list anyhow, so we'll just race in my lounge. i would like to get a few more people before the season starts, so even if you can't make every race, feel free to sign up!

If we do start today, I wouldn't be able to make it. If the weather is decent, I'll be forced to go to the beach for the last time this summer.
