struggled with understeer towards the end of the stint so lost a few seconds per lap so i 3 stopped but doing 2 stops meant i would of been in roughly the same position

Yes, I watched replay. I'm not naming and shaming, but because 2 or more guys know him does not mean he won't do shorcuts. On 2 stops, you could take EAU at 150-145mph and lose about 5-10mph mid corner on a fresh set of tires. The person who won, did 1 stop and was taking EAU at 150mph... Obviously, tires had no front grip so he was using more racetrack at exit (shortcut). If he did that twice, maybe 3 times then you could say it was fine. But doing it for 7 laps straight in a blatant way is... You name it.

This is frustating because the people who actually race fair and square (either slow or fast) might claim a podium or a win or take 11th spot from someone and don't end up last when the race is good.

If you are planning on doing Nurburgring GP/F without penalties (I don't care how much you guys think it's worthless, it actually works just fine) I will not race. All it takes is from someone to run wide at last chicane, push all the white blocks and then you will see people shortcutting because temptation is too much to miss and gain time...

I just don't get why you guys think that having light penalties is bad, you get 5 seconds if you shortcut a corner. Not 10, 20 or 30, you get 5.

I think Paul is known by a little more than 2 guys...

And to be fair, GT5's in-game penalty system is directly comparable to Nazis. :D

Ketiux, I do not see what your problem is and I find it incredibly frustrating that you are behaving in such a manor, you finished 2nd and had a perfectly good race for goodness sake, and you were a clean racer.

I want you to race next week of course, but Im not turning penalties on it's as simple as that. Most of the guys in this series ive raced with hundreds of times and many ive been team mates with, I have there full trust that they wont cut corners.
As Tom and Carb have said, it wouldnt work. Theres a reason pretty much no other series have it.

Like ive done for this race and at Nurb I will check for corner cutting in replay, no need to turn pens on, I will punish people who do cut corners extensively.

Having checked the replay, GTP_PaulMac is not not getting a penalty.
I struggle to see from what you said how it was 'blatent' in anyway. Take lap 21 and 24 for example, he accidently cuts the corner but lifts off at Eau Rogue.
Additionally, from the replay, I struggle to see how your line and Paul's line are that much different . And Pauls line through Eau Rogue certainly didnt make the difference in him winning the race, he was the best driver on the day throughout, simple.
To imply Paul wasnt racing fairly is very wide of the mark.

Export replay in your saved replay files, which can then be found in save game data, put in a USB stick or hard drive and copy it from there.

My PS3 doesnt want to reconise my hard drive :(

Points will be put in OP in a sec 👍

I couldn't quite take Eau Rouge flat out all the time, but there were times where I could and honestly the speed was amazing through there.

Just getting on, going to run some practice laps if anyone is around. Question though, are we limiting the HP on the GTR? It says 600hp but stock this thing is over that figure.
Room number- closed

Yeah I realised that you can get to 601/602 cant you? Just run that, Ill update OP, every horse power counts eh ;)

Basicaly the fool means.. Yes we will be power limiting like the Vette to a certain bhp using room setting, 600bhp for this one.. Nel has the blonde bug in his brain :sly:

Btw since you posted... S....

MaulPac.

Oh, and after running about 8 laps with 601 HP I have my times down to sub 55's. Once again going to have to look after the tires, this car likes the front ones. :sly:

Yeah I didnt do any long runs but yeah did appear it loves eating up those front tyres :scared:

Im petrified of everyone going into the 1st corner in these though, will emphasise before race start :)

Geez, I hate that feature on 4WD's, even though I tried everything to make the Atenza oversteer in TOCA Legends, it still ate away just the fronts... :boggled:

How many hours until the race starts? I do plan on racing today, just a bit confused on when it starts.
