John Madden post of the year.

John Madden is an American Football announcer who is notorious for pronouncing the most obvious facts that even my grandmother could tell me about. Things like "well if the if the if the if the qua-qua-quarter back, now if the quarter back throws throws throws the ball, the ball, and the receiver catches the ball in the end endzone, well now that that that that's a touchdown."

He also has a hilarious speech impediment.

This award would go to the post which is stating the most obvious fact, which did not need to be highlighted at all. The category could be just most blatantly obvious post or something, but I just find John Madden to be a hilarious individual.

Except that F1GTR needs to remove the Registered sign and put a "TM" in its place. Legal issues :lol:. Unless of course Jordan has actually registered it! Also, F1, the text is a slightly brighter white than the GTP symbol. Just trying to help you make it perfect...

I think it's supposed to be like that though. At the left of the GTP logo its really dirty looking and it gradually fades into a brighter white. I don't think they're meant to be the same color.

I really like this one, but I think it would look just a tad better if you took out the separator line l and simply made it '07 or 2007. To me, it kind of catches the eye when you're looking at it and looks like a 107. Very nice though. 👍

Best Returning Member: Seems like a decent one with the return of Blazin' and Omnis after their departures.

Most-Controversial Member: There have been a few I can think of this year, one more than others, which caused a big stink for a week or so.

Soooo Not a Fanboy: Given to the member who has a fairly blatant bias on most things no matter how "fair" he (or she?) may claim to be.

Best GTP Fad 2007: We've seen a lot happen this year. Name changes, smiles, cars, etc...

For the best fad, I would say the reflective guruguru car thing. Im quite sure like every 1/4 person used an avvy.

This reminds me of the "most likely to....." section in the yearbooks. I dont think I could be nominated for anything.

The registered sign is there because DQuan asked me last year to put it there. :lol:

There's a font at www.dafont.com called 'Birth of a Hero', which looks a lot like this one but has a more 'rubbed' feel. You could try that one out, mebbe?

Keep in mind the 'e' in Birth of a Hero is a bit bent, and I'd recommend fixing it, but that's about it.


In categories, last year there was a big fuss about not giving awards for negative issues, and I frakly think that's stupid. We're our own microcosmos here and as such there's good and bad people, and they all make the 'planet what it is. So don't ignore the bad.
