Can I nominate to get rid of the Darwin Award?

It serves as a way to look down on a member, and is essentially there as a baseless, childish addition to an already solid award categories.

Can it not also be seen as a way to better ones self? "Wow. Everyone thinks I'm a idjit. Maybe I should not be."
 
Better be famous with a "bad" prize than being unseen forever. -> like Golden Raspberry Award (Razzie Award)

I listened. I just believe that a little shaming is good for a community that requires a degree of conformity.
 
The Darwin Award should not be retracted. Does anyone remember how much it benefited young Jai (who I don't think has been around for a while now). I makes people see the error of their ways more often than not.

I have a feeling it's mostly the Premium members/ long term members who vote in these yearly awards.

Who was banned, came back, and was banned again? Yeah it helped him a lot!!
 
Then there was Peter... who was banned then came back and was banned again.... and quite possibly had a third crack.
