You can always pick another car. All the ones without 👍 are still open. I'm waiting to pick so other people get what they want. Might even race vintage or whatever depending on where there are holes.

Probably yes to tarmac. I'd love to do night/rain rally if it's possible. The worse the conditions the better :mischievous:

And yes we will keep the procedure with the 5 second delay between starts.
 
hmm explain reverse order.

EDIT: taking the '77 stratos for now, hopefully there are more people interested in the vintage class so we can get all three cars going. If anyone really wants this car let me know I'll switch to another.

Thinking about starting the season in 2 weeks. What do you guys think? I won't be here next weekend but in the mean time we can do some testing to see how this will pan out. I'll be on in a little bit if anyone wants to join me.

EDIT: in my lounge now. stratos is a hell of a car...

Sooo will likely be testing more for this series in the near future with a possible off-season test/tune race this weekend. You guys down?
 
Nooo but I want to try it...I just started playing iracing 2.0. That game is addicting. Dirt 3 looks really good also.

That game would be great for group b also...

If not I'm just gonna call this a reset and start a practice heat next weekend. Anyone welcome, any of the cars listed, regardless if it's taken. It'll be more of a fun attraction to racers than a serious competitive thing. Like a track day.

Gonna hold an open track day this weekend, this Sunday 10/2 at 12pm noon US EST time (which I think is something like GMT-5 though not sure in the summer).

Must be driving one of the cars listed, stock parts (can add dirt/snow tires).

Thread bump so GTP people know we're having a track day tomorrow at noon (US ET). Room # will be posted here, check the bottom of the OP for rules in red.
 
Update: a room will be open in about 15-20 minutes. No official races just trying to figure out the best format for the series/get people interested.
 
I'm having trouble getting this series reset, so here's how it's gonna work. I'm going to have track days on the following days (US EST):

Friday 7pm
Sunday noon

Bring anything with the appropriate tires, doesn't have to be a car on the list. I'll post this in the main OP as well. Since no one has been here in a while I'm resetting the driver/car list as well so they're all open for grabs. Remember whatever you choose to drive for the series will need to be stock (no parts upgrades).

Hopefully we can get some people interested. Come on people, Group-B! :D
 
bumping. track day tonight 7pm US EST. Everyone/every car with dirt or snow tires welcome. Set a time during the event and post it here!

This series will be rolling soon enough, we just need enough drivers. Hoping these track days will attract the Group-B fans.
