Time to sort out the boys from the men.
ATP have decided its time to lay the smack down......

We will be holding a top tuners comp for the cream of the crop of GT planet drag teams, and as strange as it seems, we will be holding this for the folks in the USA.

This will be a 2 car event, one race only, knock out comp.

ATP will be hosting ths entire event, ghost to judge, so in essence this will hopefully negate any major tree advantage from east to west coast in the states.

1 member per team is all that is allowed... So pick your best international tree to run in the event.

Two cars competing will be the Cuda 440 and the S1 Shelby.

If you are keen to put your team through its paces, PM me to add your contender to the list, or reply in this thread.

Date and time will be negotiated with contenders once announced.

ATP intended on having an entrant in this competition, and yes he is from the US.

Lol, I for one will be very interested to compare people off our ghosts, will make for a pleasant change.
Just hope we can get 8 or so particants to make it worth the while.

We intended on having 3 members present, 1 to adjudicate tree, 1 for the shadow and 1 watching the races in case of any shenanigans.

Can't do much more than that....

Will do chief, as long as your net is up to scratch.
Will be good if you can get on mid week for testing.
Would like to make this as fair as possible from all angles, including the adjudicators.
Don't want anyone lagging out the lobby...

May consider testing in a friends only lobby, with maker to be the ghost.
Everyone knows the maker has a tree advantage normally, but if said maker is the ghost for a room full of internationals it may be a bit more stable than a normal lobby. Will need to be confirmed.
May need some of our current US friends to help us out with testing this week as well...

Y'all can fight amongst yourselves as to who that actually is.

Was hoping for 8 teams and three judges... so there simply wont be room for anymore.
And for the sake of participants, we wont be allowing any spectators to minimize lag.

There are more girls on here then men! Makes sense why you are having trouble finding enough people lol! I guess this battle royale will be just TDS and ATP!! Well at least there will be some space for a spectator!:lol:

It's for all teams and there are only two cars, both of which I figured you yanks would have lying around in your garages.

But we may just shelve it if teams aren't willing to step up to the plate.

Will be disappointing though, I don't recall ever seeing a competition of this nature before.

To be confirmed mate, but ASAP.
Still only 4 teams signed up, would like at least another two teams to get on board before we pencil in a date.

But to accommodate the differences in time lines, it'll be run on a weekend.

Damn that sucks! This would have been an awesome competition. How about letting two people from different teams enter? I know you said no sloppy seconds lol but at least you would have 8 people 2 from TDS, ATP, GTWW, and Snurtle.

Probably never! There isn't enough people playing GT6 like there was back in GT5. I have noticed that there is less people are on gtp also then before.
 
Some of the user names have changed, but we still get a good couple hours in every single night.
Guess it's the smaller, more friendly community we have down under.
